Should bullies be excluded from school?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Bullies... bullies, we hate them, don't we? there are a lot of them in schools, they like bullying other kids especially those who are lower ages than they.

Why they bully other kids? because to show their power? respecting them? fearing from them? those bullies have mostly a bad life so they want to show something which can make them greater.

They shouldn't be allowed to go to the playgrounds at the break time, so that the other kids will play in a non-threatening environment.

Should they be excluded from the school? Or do we need to punish them? my opinion is to give them 3 chances, the first one is a verbal warning, they will need to write "I won't bully others again" 100 times. If they made a mistake again, they will receive the second warning: Email to parents stating "please check this email". The third and the last: Kicked from school.

Those bullies can be gangsters, thieves, bandits when they will grow up. So, we need a way to learn them in a proper way. We can do special rooms and teach them how to behave and the lesson will be called "Ethics". In that way, some of them might even be kind after that, like a normal child. Detentions won't make them better, instead, it will make them angrier and they will feel that they are hated much more and will be expressing their powers more and more. They can be bad for now on but who knows who would they be in the near future...

The kids who get bullied when they're small become bullies when they're old so removing a bully from school will not help

The school administration should not let this happen

Bullying isn't really as much of a problem anymore.

Because now people have actually done something about it, and kids know not to just take it.

The whole "bully" mentality isn't existent much because they know that kids usually group up, and now bullies are a rarity.

However, cyberbullying is as much of a problem as regular bullying, if not worse.

In short: This isn't much of a debate, bullying has evolved beyond being punishable.

Its a cycle - if they were all to get excluded from school, they'd bully kids out of school. These kids would then go on to bully other kids, probably in school, who'd then get excluded and the cycle would repeat. By the end of it there'd be, what, 40-50? people left.

People (teachers, government, etc.) have to let this go.

Ranting and spending half our school time educating us in different ways and ideas on how else to bully a victim is a waste of my time!

Anyways, go to private school now. Don't have that problem.

Teachers and principals are crap nowadays (ok, ok. 50% only)

They do not realize when kids are bullied and "can't do anything about it" even tho they rant about it every second day!

What's telling a teacher gonna help!? Nothing!

Jeebus Crust, four posts for all of that?

Anyways I agree with you "fight back" solution, it always works in my favor.

You get them off your ass and nobody messes with you, two benefits at the cost of having his mother get all angry and maybe getting suspended.

In other words: "We're glad you handled things yourself, take a break."

My parents: "Oh, it's ok. We are proud of you. Gg for winning :)"

They make damn sure I don't bully others tho, and I wouldn't.

Protip for if you're in a fight:

If you have a semi-muscular build, use your shoulders to absorb their blows then headbutt them while foaming at the mouth and yelling.

It will ensure nobody goes near you or makes eye contact.

Tip on head butt: use you're fingers and feel for two horn things on the top your forehead. This area should make contact with their nose.

This can break their nose if lots of power is behind it, but don't be afraid they can't die.

They will damn sure be off you're back after a broken nose..

Back on the topic of bullying, what exactly counts as bullying nowadays?

I've heard the "continuous threats or insults" answer, but that's just how our generation talks.

If they continuously obviously put you down.

Basically they need to have an actual advantage over you, knowing something, stronger, etc. Or else it's just you being a wimp and being scared to fight back.

Has to be continuous, not a 1 week thing or so.

Only listen to me if they severely socially, verbally hurt you. Doing so with not enough reason may result in extreme fun but also maybe some trouble.

I mean, people mess with me, but I'm a weird kid so I can get it.

Being anti-social is fun anyways, nobody relies on you and you aren't messed with because you kind of live in your own little world.

And when you are, you can just flip them the bird and ignore them. I guess this isn't a good thing though, having only three friends (Only two of which go to my school) isn't enough. However, like I said, I'm not picked on because it's hard to pick on me.

But I do find my habbit of talking to inanimate objects worrying. I guess I need more than three friends, so I'm not talking to my phone about what happened at lunch today.

Well I havnt. Been helping either have I -_-

I doubt you're weird,I bet you're cool. Just the "cool" kids are horny and usually are very weak non-physically talking. They therefore do their best to change themselves and "fit in".

No, the "cool" kids blast their music that involves being "swaggangsta" and extreme drug use into the room while I'm trying to actually get somewhere in life by graduating.

All of my friends are nerdy and so am I, so I guess I do fit in. I just don't find music where every third word is a profanity very good.

Give them warnings? The hell with that; hit them in the face. Tell them to leave you alone. I'm sick of being pushed around.

Bullying isn't an issue for me now, but I'm sure it's still there.

Not going to lie, I'm an unhygienic and anti-social guy, but I'm great if you know me.

My problem is I'm not interested in knowing people, and people are... ...."unintelligent", by my standards. Not to try to sound smart, I'm not any smarter than anyone else. I just express myself very well online, and enjoy tank games. :3

I used to get bullied a lot because my condition made me short-tempered and irrational. (Asperger's Syndrome.)

So naturally they liked to pick on me because I would just go off the walls, but I'm getting better at controlling my anger.

Now I'm not messed with because nothing gets on my nerves and I'm just a quiet, hollow guy.

The best way to stop bullying is to ignore his threats and not be intimidated by him. However, that only works as long as he doesn't get physical. Then that's another problem.

If it gets physical it's not going to last long.

A bully rules through fear and threats, they usually have little to no strength and generally have a bad life.
