Hello, tankers. As most of you know, reporting a chat violator is a very long process. You need to take screenshot, upload it to host and post it in forum. And not everybody know how to report them. But what if you could report a violator just with 2 clicks? How? Simple: when you click on a player's name in chat, some functions appear. It makes sending, agreeing and cancelling friendship request and/or blocking players easier. But, there can also be a report button. When you press it, the computer can quote it and send it to a moderator. So everybody will know how to report.

I don't think it is that long, I mean if you have fast internet wouldn't take more than a minute, but a good thought in general.

Of course, it can take just a minute, but the point is, not everyone knows how to report.

Well, how would they know how this works? I mean I get the "Report" button, but what do you mean by "The computer quotes"?

It can be like in forum. For example: someone said "der" (let's say it's profanity") and you press report button, write the reason why you reported it and press send. So, just like in forum, the computer will save that message and send it to the chat mod.

Hmm, when you say it like that, it does look easier. But how will the computer know what to quote? The player might have hundreds of posts.

If his message is against the rules, you should use report button near to the message. Example:

@jokersus.cava: hello all

@jokersus.cava: [*insult*]

you should press the second name to use report feature.

Nice idea. But the only point against it is that some people might exploit it and start sending fake reports to mods which may result in wastage of their time. The current system, though tedious, makes sure that no one sends a fake report.

If they send fake reports, first time, they can get banned for a month and then forever like current system.

well this should encourage all tanker to be mod eye. it should decrease all sabatoge and hacker...

The idea is good, but as usual mods will have one or the other issue, but a good issue :P

What if someone sends a fake report without noticing.

 

For eg: I declined my friend's request like that by mistake.

The Title says it all. Today, the only way to deal with derespecting people and trolls is either by muting them, or using the "Vote" chat command. Muting does nothing because the violator will keep doing it anyways, and the Vote command takes too long to be effective (or have no effect at all, if there are no Mods On-line). <_<

People have been suggesting this for a LONG time.

Not sure why they won't do it though.

 

And yes, the ,/Vote command is useless. It is not a reliable way at all to report any mult.

 

They say they're trying to get more mods to get this ./vote thing better, but so far it doesn't look like they're doing anything to help it. :lol:

I usually go to idea topics and think of every detail. But I must say, in my mind there is no problem with this idea. I just think that the button would be used by newbies for foolish reasons.

Hello!

 

Add a menu into the game, witch can be opened with a report button.

You can paste the player's name, and select the type of the problem: hacker, saboter, insult, ect.

You also can write your additional comment to the report. 

 

I hope, with a new system, and fast responsing we can struggle for the game's cleanness.
