Previewing paints

Recommended Posts

Sometimes i want to see how the paint looks on my tank without buying the respective paint, so can there be a preview button next to all paints in the shop that you have unlocked not bought. The preview button next to a unbbought paint will display the tank in the garage with the paint that you have selected. You do not buy the paint it just shows the paint in the garage on your tank.  It would be so much easier to see the paint on the tank before you buy the paint.

Please tell me what you think about this suggestion!

A special button that says "preview" would be useful, it will look like you have equipped it, but it will only show you how it looks. Nice idea! :)

Useless. This make the paint less attractive. You may preview it on your enemy tank though :)

Wait, what? How will previewing a paint make it less attractive?

Also, calling this idea useless without a proper justification is just spam.

You can use tank viewer to do that. With its help you can see how a paint looks on any combo / modification. You can also create you own paint and check how it looks.

You can get it from here

This is really an unneeded effort given the considerable ease of using a "Preview" option.

You shouldn't buy a paint by it looks .-.

*Pffffft* Of course not, but eventually you have to get that one snazzy looking paint. :D Though beyond that, I sometimes buy paints that have a bit less protection, but have a fantastic texture that will make it harder for my enemies to spot me. In this case, it is good to know how that texture would appear on my particular combo of choice.

If you only need a paint for his look it becomes less attractive once you just tried it and you no longer like how it's looking on your tank.

A preview could be ok if you actually can test it in battle.

For that reason just to see how it's looking on your own tank is simply useless.

Testing things in battle is another idea completely, but can you elaborate why you think it would be useless?

Tbh buy paints that'll benefit you the most in battle. I mean sure it is pretty nice to have a paint just for its looks, but this shouldn't dominate your reasoning and decision skills in buying a paint unless you have crystals to spend.

Yeah.....I mean, people sometimes buy Swash. I mean, that is a very useless paint in terms of protection IMO.

Eh, you can just view a paint on TankViewer. Besides, it's not the best thing to buy a paint on the way it looks, look is nothing when it comes to battling. For example let's say you like a one paint better than another paint, but the other paint has better protections and is more worth the price, buy the paint which is more "ugly", I'd say.

Not good idea.
