Getting a PC Built!

First of all, I searched for a topic where I could post my question, and tried stating the question in different ways but could not find one. If there is one, feel free to move this to that topic, jus inform me :)

Alright, so I'm finally getting a PC built. I don't need a laptop, I have a MacBook Pro and it does the job :D .

I have a 500$ Budget and this is what I've come up with.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JpHczy

If you don't want to open that, here are the specs.

- Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor

- ASRock H97M Anniversary Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

- G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

- GeForce GTX 750 Tl 2 GB Super Clocked

- EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

I'll also be getting a case with LED lighting and a Tera Byte hard drive. I was going for AMD at first, but then after going to a few shops, I found out it would heat up faster due to the temperatures in my country. I did see a review on youtube with these specs and it was running GTA V at an average of 55.4 FPS.

Please PM me with any suggestions or simply post below.

As the person below stated, I'm getting a PC built. And I want opinions on how to improvise upon it and how good this current one I've some up with is.

I may seem like a noob, but can you tell me are you building the PC by your own hands? That would be a big thing then... :)

Or are you just putting some parts together?

Building a PC just requires you to assemble some parts in CPU, namely, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, power supply, Graphics card, etc. Building your own PC gives you the advantage of making it to suit your needs. For example, an accountant will not need as good graphics card as a person who is buying PC to play video games. When you assemble your own PC, you can decide how much to spend on what part. Hope that helped :)

I'll go to a shop and order the parts, they'll put it together.

Dont buy an i3

If I go for an i5, I'll go WAY over my budget. I can't go for AMD because trust me, they just don't do it over here. i3's are pretty underrated. It's the only option I have and the one I chose is reasonably good.

i5 will take up half his budget.

Exactly.

I built my own (£900) PC a few weeks ago, and I just want to say that it's a lot easier than people think to build from scratch.  ;)

Your components look decent for the budget, although I'd recommend an i5 instead of an i3 if you are able to extend your budget a bit. Apart from that, everything looks good.
