Disable last players if teams are unbalanced

Today, I was just playing tanking online with pro pass.
in all most all battle players leave the battle when we just reach the victory..
it might be some lag or connection issue but we suffering loss..

opposite team have 4 players and we are just 3 players. 

 

So, I have suggestion that "if one team have 4 players and opposite team have only 3 players, so last players has been disabled or paused until opposite side has been balanced "

 

Same as, if Blue team have 10 players and Red Team have 5 Players, therefore last 5 players of Blue team has been disabled 

 

Its makes more fun and Justice to all players. its gave players to love the game as never before.

therefore some passionate players like me will keep playing the game most of time. 

 

I LOVE TANKI and finding new ways its my duty. 

 

Please do not delete this suggestion.

This would only be suitable for PRO battles, and only as an option. Otherwise it will cause a lot of inconvenience for normal players when they enter a battle and wish to just play, but get disabled because someone leaves.

That's the idea - when they get "disabled", they are still in the battle but no longer have the ability to play until the teams become even again.

 

What did you think it meant? Someone coming to the player's house and breaking their spine?  :D

why don't we just disable the with drugs of the team with twice as many players  as the other team, so the team with less players will get to use drugs while the team with more players cant use their supplies but they can still use pick up boxes, I guess the only exception would be a gold box supply and maybe mines, this will continue until the teams are balanced :)

if normal players (which recently joined) is in opposite side (which have less players) they will be more happy then they get disable.

I dont think thats a good idea.Becasue the half team will gain score and the other half ( Disabled one ) Wont be able to gain any score so they get less fund at the end and its not fair.

 

lets say I am firs twith 760 score and the second guy has 700 If I get disabled until the teams are unbalanced The guy would have reached to 800 score and I will be stuck still at 760 and thats not fair. Because I wont get the fund that I expeted to get if I was first.

 

By the way there are some players that when they see a battle with auto finsh running. and whe nits about to end in 10 seconds some people join to ballance the game and then they leave again so we have to wait again 1 minute. Then they repeat it till battle ends its self. Thats a bit annoying and they abuse the system.. Something must be done about that too.

if any one leave the game. its not going to disable all players. only last player because of its not equilibrium point for game..

 

game will continue as it..

IMO the last 5 players should play instead of the first 5 so that everyone could gain some score for rewards.

^^^ or some sort of substitution method. When one dies, the next person in line will join in and take their place

 

Could also allow the disabled players to spectate players/see things from their POV. Like following a player with spectator mode

That can be abused. Go to enemy base in phantom mode, camp on the flag, wait for teams to get balanced, appear, grab flag and run. Sure, they might add something like a limit to where the "phantom" players can go, but it's easier to just put them on pause or perhaps in temporary spectator mode.

The tanks could drive around in phantom mode, with chat disabled - and if they become active again they do a fresh respawn at the base.

 

Then the only fraud possibility they have is telling others via skype where flags hide (but usually this is not a secret anyways).

 

 

 

But instead of making players disabled, it would be better to balance the efficiency of the players seemless.

Most usefull thing to balance power would be to adapt the reload times.. but of course this is also the most anoying change and should not be implemented. I just write it, as it opens the mind, that there are more things that effect the efficiency of a team, then just the numbers.

Spawntimes (prolong, shorten), Disabled supplies, decrease protection modules, giving each player of the OP team 3 lives and have him pause for 25seconds thereafter; then having 3 lives again.. and so on

i agree - and then I wouldn't be able to play just because I don't have more points lets say I come in at 30 min left, in a 60 min battle first place has 2k score - And then teams go unblanced how is that fair? No way I am getting that much score just to be able to keep playing.

I hope that the matchmaking system does its best to balance powers in battles. I suggest also to watch number of players in both teams during a battle and whenever there is a discrepancy, then balance it by postponing a killed tank/-s temporarily by preventing it/them to reappear or it/they could appear blocked with some visualization. A postponed tank could continue to play in the battle as soon as another tank is killed in its own team and the new tank is postponed (FIFO queue).

team1 vs team2

8 vs 7 => 1 postponed tank in team1

8 vs 6 => 2 postponed tanks in team1

...

Sometimes a new tank appears in a battle, but it does not move for some time or it just never starts to play and then just disappear (leaves a battle). If a tank does not start to move, then the tank should be also taken into account as if it was not in the battle (-1 tank in a team).

 

You know what I mean :)

Not going to happen in matchmaking, since players come to play, so no one will be happy to have to sit there and do nothing while the enemy team has less players. Possible as an option for PRO, but highly unlikely.

I think that my suggestion would improve the matchmaking system a lot. All tanks in a team would take turns in the postponing queue as soon as they are killed by an enemy. I think that they would be paused there for a very short time and the waiting time would only grow with more missing players in enemy team.

Sometimes a battle is quite balanced but suddenly our team starts to fail rapidly and when I hit the TAB key I can see a missing player in our team. By the way, why is there not a first column with order numbers in the TAB table or at least "x vs y" information? Only 1 missing player can spoil a good game. The balancing feature could immediately pause a killed enemy tank for a while until another tank is killed in his team and joins the postponing queue. The postponing queue could be limited (2-3 tanks) if necessary based on game experiences. It takes quite a long time until a new player joins the battle (if ever) and really starts to play (the first move).

Players do not like if the matchmaking system joins them in a losing team (0:5), a "slaughter house" with several missing players in the team, 3 minutes left... They usually leave immediately.

Why would I want to be disabled?  That's a waste of my time!

If you like balanced battles then my suggestion improves the balancing system. I think you would not mind to wait for a while (5 seconds or so). Sometimes you are also in a team without sufficient players and you can only appreciate the suggested solution. But there are players who leave a battle and spoil it for the rest of the players in his team. They always try to be in a much stronger team and prefer a weak enemy with insufficent number of players ...

 

My suggestion is not about disabling last players! It was just merged here by a moderator.

My suggestion is not about disabling last players! It was just merged here by a moderator.

In any event - Devs seem fixated on shortening MM battles. 

This could not be employed in MM battles as they are short enough already - without making players 'sit' for a time.

 

Better option is to bring back the early battle termination timer.  Players may be more apt to stay in uneven battle if they know it will end soon.
