Good point. All other turrets seem to have 15-16 Triple modules, while Magnum has just 7. The problem is that by adding more Triple modules for Magnum, you also add more protections against other turrets, so it's pretty much an endless loop.

Not one protection module with Magnum plus either, Smoky, Thunder or Railgun. Thats probably why its so uncommon...

If they won't supply extra Magnum modules, then nerf Magnum itself.

making more protection modules against magnum would also magnum users can be protected from more turrets while being protected by their own self damage. right now if they have protection from magnum it means that they have no protection against railgun, firebird, vulcan, smoky and thunder. you want them to be protected against these on top of being protected from themwelves?

right now it's pretty simple, just go up to a magnum with either railgun, firebird, vulcan, smoky or thunder... either the magnum is protected from itself but not you OR it's protected from you but not itself.

unlike thunder, only way to make sure it's not protected from both itself and you while being protected from it is to use hammer or magnum with thunder potection, but with magnum you cant be protected from yourself, so that just leaves hammer.

Maybe - but - something needs to be done. 

 

Not having decent protection modules against a specific turret means that turret can be exploited. It is currently happening - anyone who denies this has their head in the sand.
