I had both m3 rail and m3 thunder.... :P Railgun was a lot harder to use effectively, but it was still possible to be of similar strength to Thunder and Freeze. It just had to be wielded incredibly well.

Firebird is overpowered.... and overpriced. You get what you pay for.

Wait, what protection does it have? I bought it without considering the protection, I still don't know what protection I am using whilst I have the paint affixed. :3 It's beautiful. Who cares about the protection?

Good article. Did you know that when the Gold box was originally released it was 1000 in every map at 700 fund (10,000 in new economics?)? And that for a special holiday, winter 2009, Firebird, Twins, Smoky and Railgun fired festive decorations from their guns instead of standard bullets (I think that's true; it may have been an elaborate troll when I was a new tankman)? Also, it would have been better to have had less strikethroughs. :? Humour isn't humorous when it is overused. :|

The weapons and hulls is so so true, completely agree +1 (except that Freeze is uglier than Twins, Freeze is basically a hoover with a little bit of style.) Paint-wise, Flora, Red, Marine, Cedar, Python, Urban, Inferno, Zeus, Jade, and the post-rebalance Clay are all more ugly than the paints you have listed I'm afraid. Good writing though, well-written article.

Hunter v Viking is not a fair comparison. Hunter has 20% more speed than Viking does, while Viking has just 10% more health. That 10% is more or less irrelevant - it's basically nothing. :| Viking's only advantages are the unlock rank and the price. A fairer comparison would be Hunter with Titan, or Viking with Hornet, or Dictator against Mammoth. :/

WAAAAAH. Smoky! Smoky! Smoky! Not. Smokeeeeeeeeeey! There is no "E" in "Smoky"! Also, Railgun had it's name change when ISIDA came out, not Thunder (and Ricochet and Freeze only came out about four months after Thunder did) because after Isida it no longer was the best weapon and no longer inspired such fear. And Railgun was not a "historic weapon" pre-rebalance. Used properly, it was still on a par with Thunder and Ricochet. Good paint review, and nice tips, but... Overall, it's best to make sure that you get your facts right. :( :thumbdown:

Would have been interesting to hear some aspects of criticism of the map, and suggestions to it, rather than just a fact-based review. You could also have reviewed the significance of Cosmonautic's day, and the updates brought out for this day in previous years. Well-written, could have been a brilliant read if you had been a bit more thorough.

Not that long. :P Fairly decent article though, but it really is not particularly long. You covered the main updates thoroughly, though, which is good. :)
