Yes, it is indeed drastic. But these people sit at those chairs in Russia because it's their specialism. They probably learned for their job and I can tell they have plenty of IQ sitting in the office who have at least as much of common sense as we all do. They're not dumb, they tried, tested etc. Take for example your comment. "Cutting in half should have an effect". That's not how it works. Just doing something to see if it works will turn into disasters. They did consider everything fully and came to these conclusion. 80% drop down does look huge, but let's see tomorrow if isida has become really that bad.

Oh I see yeah. Well, first of all it's M3+ only. Secondly, self-healing is only a little aspect of what isida can do. 10% is not much, but if that fits within the balance.. because admit man, 50% is pretty OP. It's so hard to kill an isida that way. But it's really important with this update that you guys don't take random turrets and hulls and look at their stats. Like I said before, the correlation between everything is really important in this. I mean, a reduction of 80% is not so bad when you figure out that you have 20% longer the time to actually suck the life out of other tanks, and that those tanks have a decrease of 30% in HP. In a balance everything correlates, so the key is not to take only 1 tiny piece of that and rage about it.

Yes, the wiki has the theory and you can look up what they did they Isida, but you can never know how it correlates to the other weapons and tanks. That is simply too much data to process for a human brain. Which is why I side with maf here. Tomorrow you will see whether it has really become that bad in relation to other hulls and turrets or not.

Totally agree here, it's a lot about how you describe it. Playing a game doesn't help you, but explaining what skills you gained from your roles in tanki will help. In fact, I did not even put in my CV that it's a game, that makes people tag you. We got to talk about it in the job interview though, but there I could "defend" myself.

So I am an organizer at eSports and I create tournaments. In the real world I am the manager of the referees at the sportclub I am a member of. It is indeed a volunteer job. It includes planning, taking care of your referee's etc. But guess what, there are minor differences, because also the planning happens on PC, I maintain contact with my referee's like 95% of the time through email or whatsapp. The differences are minor, why does it put someone in a worse spot? I think it's really out-dated to think that the best employees are to be found at non-gaming places. Those times have past. I can assure you that you lose potentially very good employees by ruling out the online area nowadays.

I am moderating way more than I play, like 49/50 of my time goes into moderating in a game. I actually did that. I added commentator and Organizer on it (eSports Official would not be understandable). You are creating skills with your tanki-work. Commentator is definitely meaning that I upgraded my english, but also capable of talking in front of big audiences. I also got plenty of criticism, which is something you get to be able to deal with. As an eSports Organizer, there has to be creativity during litterally organizing it, you also work in a team. During the tournament you deal with a lot of stress, especially when you have only 2 referee's and 100's of participants. All those skills really help you. How the application went? During the job interview we spent 1/2 of the time talking about my tanki jobs and the interviewers were so interested in it. And I got the job. Those skills are something that are more valuable than working in your local supermarket (which I did as well). So definitely add those and more sure to describe the positive skills you got from there.

I got a couple of points 1. I spent 1 hour of my precious time with hiding all the "advertisement" you posted in the clansection. It's forbidden and very annoying when you post the same message in all clans 2. This has no basis whatsoever. You picked a bunch of clans, not even all of them and let people vote who are better. I believe that quality between clans can only be proven in actual fighting. Not by letting a whole forum vote who is best. 3. This is absolutely not the right section for such votings. Dear tankers, After quite some time and by popular demand, we are happy to announce the launch of a new English Community based tournament! We have multiple goals in mind with this tournament and we shall elaborate on a few of them. Our first goal is to keep the eSports community active, especially our clans, and have the first series as a warm up to even more tough competitions and better prizes coming during this winter. Our second goal is to reshape the current clans section for tournaments, as well as, non-tournament related fights and also for any eventual in-game clan system as by developers. But for now, the plan is to stick with the forum a little more and to use the Series to re-position clans in more appropriate divisions that will work better for the various aspects of clans altogether. Our third goal, which will also be perhaps the most trickiest for us, will be to constantly adapt to the various changes the developers will implement in the game within the coming weeks. From game balance, to addition of new in-battle objects or alterations, changes in timings of supplies, etc... Therefore this Series will very likely undergo changes of its own and end up in a very different manner than the one in which it started off. There are also other challenges which we're aiming at tackling. This means that things will change for you and by a fair amount, namely in terms of rules and procedures which will take some getting accustomed to, for you, your team mates and your clan leaders.
