Eventually... That isn't the point. The point is mods are supposed to PREVENT spamming or nip it in the bud. This guy, banned EVENTUALLY or not, still succeeded at completely flooding the chat. Thus we need more mods.

Kool, being in many clans before, this has been my bad experience: Clans that grow big become so selective on who gets all the attention! For example, in DD when I'm on their xat, I'll ask a question or something, and no one will ever respond! It's almost like I'm not even there, only I am. It's so big that the only way to get respect is to be a big buyer or VIP. Unfortunately, most of us here aren't people who work and support themselves yet, so buying is impossible most of the time. Then again there's that finicky rule about majors. People who create clans want to be strong. The problem is that if a person just hit major, and major is the highest rank in the clan, how in the world do you think that clan will compete against other clans!? Inflation. I miss the simple days. I remember when SS was in its glory days. Meat had a nice isida, cabby had a hornet, and lots of other people just used rail. Now what does everyone have? An all M3 garage with all the best paints and $600 dollar tanks. Since this is a battle oriented game, people want to only create a clan that can dominate the battlefield. The way I see it, the problem now is that our community has the mediocre people, then the group of people who buy like crazy who are in a whole different league. It's just not fair for everyone. If you want more clans, you need more people who can compete. Right now there is a great lacking of people who can do just that.

People in the midst of our in depth discussion, I have to ask: what is this topic accomplishing? We can argue for more mods if we like, but tanki has its own plans. To play devil's advocate, what do our personal opinions matter in terms of the game plan? Will there be more mods because of this topic? Or does tanki take suggestions as a grain of salt?

About your suggestion about moderators on appointed servers. Poor mods! I pity the mods that will be assigned to small servers like server 19! That system won't work. Mods are players too. Appointing a mod to moniter a specific server all the time would be no fun at all for that particular player.
