When there is a 50% sale on an item, which already has a 20% sale, then you don't simply add the percentages to get the final discount. 50% = 0.5 and 20% = 0.2 Hornet M2 costs 70500 crystals That with a 20% discount is 70500 - (70500 x 0.2) Additional 50% sale to the resulting price of 56400 is 56400 / 2 The final price is 28200 The final discount is (1 - 28200 / 70500) x 100% which is 60% So, to get the final value from a multiple discount you need to convert the discounts to decimals and multiply the original cost Y as follows: Y x (1 - A) x (1 - B ) x (1 - C) x (1 - D)... and so on, where A, B C and D are the decimal values of multiple sales on the item. To get the final percentage discount you need to do: 100 x (1 - A) x (1 - B ) x (1 - C) x (1 - D)... and so on, where A, B C and D are the decimal values of multiple sales on the item. So yeah, to answer your question: no, the final sale is not 70% and to find the value after two sales (e.g. 50% and 20%) you must find 50% of the original and 80% (100 - 20) of the answer.
