Firstly, it is legal. Whether it is right or not, you agreed to it. This was not defined by me. The definition of "Material(s)" was defined by Tanki in their EULA. A legal definition of "document" (provided by thelawdictionary.org) is: And yes, you have agreed for Tanki to enclose any type of document, which means they can post your real name or address (if you provided it to them) but they have agreed to be "construed in accordance with the Laws of Malta and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta. [22.1]" In fact, I have found a better clause in the EULA that backs up my point: What more can be said?

Even though I am 70% sure the devs will remove the time counters, I would like to show you one section of the EULA, which you agreed to when joining the game. Where "Materials" is defined as: Where "documentation" can be defined as "material that provides official information or evidence or that serves as a record." So you agreed to allow them to collect documents (eg. hours played) and use, without your permission, to show publicly.

I don't see what's wrong. You are playing a PUBLIC game on the internet, where basically everything can be made public. Take the TalkTalk hackings for example, where ACTUAL PRIVATE INFORMATION, not something as meaningless as the total game time, was stolen. Follow a basic concept - whatever you write or whatever you do online can be revealed to anyone. Simple.
-
Of course he will care. Being an ex-commentator for Tanki along with other jobs is so bad isn't it? The fact that I play a game several hours a day does not matter to my boss, as long as I am working when I should be.Who would be scared that their future boss might access their gaming profiles and see that they are playing a game? "Oh no, I have just checked online and saw that you have played a game for 200 hours. So even though you have determination, persistence and motivation, I am firing you." I am defending a game because I agree with them, and I am entitled to an opinion just like you are. Accept change, it may be for the best.

If you think spending a lot of time playing a game means having no life then please, just leave. A time counter is not a new feature in games. If it "creates problems" ie. your Facebook friends tell you to "get a life" then either they aren't good friends or you need to consider your gaming pattern or time. I really don't see what is wrong with people knowing I have spent a certain amount of time using a weapon. I am pretty sure the high ranking clan members will spend hundreds, if not thousands of hours playing. Are they told to get a life? No, they are the respected players who win real prize money and are envied by others. The only thing you are whining about is the fact that people will know how long you have been playing Tanki. As if being a generalissimo doesn't already suggest you have been playing Tanki for a long time. What do you want to do now, remove ranks? Yes, people with families and jobs can play Tanki. Maybe they are mature enough to have a time counter and not complain about the "invasion of their privacy." Good. So now someone will know what main gun I use. Unless they are prepared to spend ages finding a tactic or weapon to counter the possible chance that I will use it in a battle, it doesn't really help. Life well spent.

Yep, total hours played could be over the past 4 years or the past 4 months. An over-equipped garage does means that the player either bought it, won it in competitions or is incredibly skilful and won many matches. Players' and peoples' privacy is the same thing. Tanki is still not violating their privacy. Just to give you some examples about how stats, total time played and other information is freely shared in other games: Recent activity, total time played on certain games (all game names are hidden to avoid any conflict with mods) In this game you can rank everyone and see all the weapons that they use. It also shows their total hours played and significantly more information than what Tanki is releasing. So please, do not complain when other games have been doing this for ages. What difference does it make knowing that your opponent has a better garage than you? Teamwork plays a bigger role when winning in matches. Note: I think this is right but correct me if I am wrong. Semyon, along with most of the devs, can basically add and remove their XP and crystals. Semyon wanted to rank up slowly without any boosts, so that he could interact with the lower ranked community. (I believe Bruce Lunga went straight to Marshal). Therefore they can have whatever they want in their garage, so if people saw items that cannot be found normally, they would complain.

I like this update a lot. Possible improvements could be: A link in their profile to message the player in the forums Progress bar of achievement completion (eg. 30000 kills out of 100000) Also, some achievements have not been unlocked even though I have done them I agree that you should have the choice to hide it to friends only, but this is really only a concern for the high performing clan members. And it is not violating any privacy rules, they are only sharing your garage, not your personal details.

Now it's about tactical drugging - knowing the right time to apply them

1. No 2. Not activated in the first place 3. Internet Explorer for Win10

Maybe not, but completely redesigning and remaking Tanki for TankiX costs a lot of money and effort. They need to fund it somehow

hhhhhhh GIFs can be memes too

Its probably broken because of the hosting site, but I've removed it anyway

Well if you are on a head-on combat against another player the circle trick is useful. Otherwise the guerrilla tactic is sufficient. Especially if you are trying to distract enemies so that a teammate can take the flag

Oooh, a generalissimo who has changed his username

This post is irrelevant and that site is already quite well-known

Wow...is it given away that easily now? I remember when the only way you could get it was by being a commentator or by being a chat mod
-
This should be interesting

What do you want them to say? "We made a new anti-cheat system! Download these hacks and test to see if they work in the test server!"

Page updated, new Facebook cover and logo Thanks to McMaven for producing the old one.
