This update is brilliant. I tried it out by playing (with Smoky) for the first time in months and was a lot better than in the testing stages. The only problem I had (apart from the lag spikes) was that the turning on the turret was occasionally unresponsive. If I remember correctly, the main reason Moon Silence had to be removed was due to the new physics of the tanks and turrets that was introduced, and the low gravitational pull of Moon Silence messed it up. Therefore if this is right then there is no chance of it coming back.

If you mean a screen recording software then Bandicam is a good option, but it has a watermark on the top of the video (doesn't matter for this competition - you can see some of the entries with the watermark too). If you are referring to a video editing software (as interpreted by mcmonkey25) then Windows Movie Maker should be enough - you just need to insert the gameplay video and overlay your commentating audio.

Unfortunately you won't be able to enter then, but don't worry - there will be more competitions in the future which do not require Youtube or microphones

I would advise not to; it can be distracting and, if copyrighted music is used, may result in all the audio in the video being removed.

If you win, you get a chance to become a commentator. If you win and accept this position you will probably become a candidate. Once you become a full commentator you might get spectator, and if given it will be only when you need it. If you wish to become a commentator I would recommend getting a microphone, as in-built mics are generally really bad. You can either use a Youtube-MP3 converting site or you can record the gameplay with a screen recorder such as Bandicam.

This is going to be fun to watch :) Just to let you know in case you want to be a commentator, you can't just clip and edit your voice recordings; it should be continuous, as when you commentate live there is no chance of you doing a retake

I think the main reason I quit was because of the mess up of the economy. They made it so hard to earn crystals that I didn't find playing battles worthwhile and I eventually quit. Sure, some of you pros may disagree with me but I find now that I am getting much less than before the rebalance and crystal x10.
