I'd like to make a point about PMs again. Most of the time (as shown recently) you get a satisfying response, but ignorance and abruptness is on the rise. Twice now I've got "I owe you nothing" or "I won't tell you" for whichever reason not specified. For the former, as I said before the staff obviously don't owe you a penny but it is their job to respond. In this case, I had asked how I had broken a rule but was merely tossed aside with no answer. Second occasion, I had asked why the staff member had done something, and my response is above. Please review this.

Well, help has always "helped" me within a few hours, apart from a long while ago when I didn't actually get a response. You've just got to tell them the necessary information.
-
GoldRock, it's similar, almost identical to a slogan already submitted. Try searching "real battles".
-
Well, Semyon - quote you, "staff are players like you", so... Why is it that staff (mostly moderators) don't give their true opinions on updates? I know I was terribly penalised for doing that a while ago, but if they're "players", shouldn't they be able to say what they think? Will give some examples soon.
-
I think feedback on staff does include them unnecessarily downvoting posts.
-
Read my post, I just wanted staff to be more polite and respond better. Well, if they disagree, sure, but is that the way to go?
-
Well, we were giving opinions, but it seems as if the moderators don't like that.
-
Has positive votes now, "yay".

Cooking and space have nothing to do with each other, jokjinari :). Tanki Online and e.g. Minecraft share something in common as they're both games.

Yes. When I'm very angry. Have you been to the UK?

Patience is a necessity. It says “specific moderator”, so I guess quotes with no names don’t count towards a ban. Anyway, patience is very important. No matter who you are serving, they should be treated with equal respect. Sarcasm should not be used at all – it can give the wrong message. Whether the player is a notorious troll, a newbie, or a well-known respectable player, they should be treated equally. It’s known that of course there will always be someone who asks the most obvious or stupid question, but that may be due to age, understanding of English, or whatever. So yeah, patience – here “Guys, you just don't think.” when answering a question – this could have been omitted. Rewording is also appreciated – “Pressing your mighty left mouse button several times” could just be “logging into your main account” (the former is a bit too cheeky, no?), and when locking topics (this is an example, off the top of my head) instead of saying “there was no need to create a new topic”, how about “Next time, instead of creating a new topic, you can use *linkhere*”. Ah yes, almost forgot - this is also in PM. Receiving "I owe you nothing" is quite disappointing. If you request something, of course moderators don't owe you anything, but it's their job to reply as best as they can to your requests.

I agree - what's the point in calling this section Off-Topic Discussion when only 2/10 don't have something to do with Tanki, "Current Music" and "Happy Birthday" are two of the very very few examples.
-
Don't worry, most of them don't make much sense.
-
 Thanks... Are the other points I made out of the question?
-
Well, that's what the administration is for...
-
Look out for my referrals in the future!

No, it wasn't. And about GR, I'm speechless. I am now noting that all the "changes" to the forum have nothing to do with how the game/forum is being run. Well, I guess that our lips will always be zipped shut in that field :(.
-
a) Where I said "you" in "I don't think you have those feelings", I was not referring to you, just moderators and administrators in general. So stop accusing me of bringing "personal arguments" into things - and I'd like to think we don't have any, which we DO NOT. Wherever I said "you" I meant moderators and admins. b ) About the second topic in Off-Topic, I guess after a while when the main topic is locked, so could the one on off-topic, and someone could write a detailed ending showing the good and bad sides to the update, meaning the developers would only have to check one post. c) About "Why are you telling this to me?" I quoted your post, but if I meant it to be completely private, I would have sent you a PM. This means anyone can see my post and respond. It just so happened that I was responding to you. About anything else, we can cross that bridge when we get there.

And e.g. here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=182542... Whether this be by your or not, it is of your department - he says to go to the ideas and suggestions topic.
-
Alright, specifics, if you really have no idea. Now, my fr - you, the rules is where most of my points come from. -----I don't see why Tanki can't be compared with other games (e.g. the Google doodle interactives, or Cookie Clicker which aren't even proper MMOs). Wouldn't it be nice to be able to speak about other games, for once? And those games in particular I've mentioned - people will play those along with Tanki, so it won't make a difference to how much money Tanki gets. Next, you'd notice that people often make topics discussing things which have an "official" topic - why can't they have this? I don't mean have loads and loads, but one in Developers' News, and one in Off-Topic? That way, the one in off-topic won't have people who have just joined flooding it, and some real discussion can take place, a "debate", even. Another point is about "farewell" and "I'm back" topics. For the latter, is it not right to welcome someone when they return for whatever reason? And farewell topics - before you jump at me, I know they're allowed - but for what, two days? Is that enough time for a proper goodbye? A chance to express memories... It's sad to see a good friend go, but I don't think you have those feelings. So try extending that limit from a mere two days. And e.g. here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=182542... Whether this be by you or not, it is of your department - he says to go to the ideas and suggestions topic - but is that really for discussing ideas with the rest of the community? I see he has not linked us to "feedback", deeming it out of the question, so anyway - discussing in the ideas and suggestions place will flood it, no? All ideas will be buried amidst discussion of one idea. So, why not let people share their idea with others? Let them point out the good and the bad... improve it... Why not?
-
Well, I'm guessing "short and sweet" is the key.
-
@Semyon, which direction is this? Probably of your choice - why not let the regular players have fun (which is THEIR definition of fun, not yours)? And "it has been chosen" - by whom? By a player, or by some random moderator/administrator who doesn't have a clue of what the players want? And your phrasing implies that this direction cannot be changed. Please clarify.
