  1. That just shows how messed up the servers are, as well as battle moderation. Permanently blocking a 15 years old account that had no previous history is nothing but messed up. Like, I have around 200 GB of footage that show I'm not hacking, but apparently I can't use any of that to prove anything lol. This is a serious problem with the game, no one seems to realize.
  2. Well, I just received an answer, and apparently my account is blocked forever. This is kind of insane.
  3. No response yet, but this topic is more about raising awareness that battle moderation for such cases seems pretty impossible right now. I'd also like seeing why I got blocked tho. Honestly, just like many other things in Tanki, the process of blocking accounts also seems completely outdated. Why can't I already see what lead to my block? Feels like someone just went rogue, lmao.
  4. I'm not saying that that shot is why I got blocked, but I wouldn't know for what else? I played some 2v2s against a player who was streaming, and in his stream I was hitting a lot of those weird ones in his POV. Soon after, in the next battle, my account got randomly blocked while playing. It's weird... I don't know what to tell you

    Honestly, the state the servers are in is so crazy, that to me it feels impossible to do the job as a battle moderator. Have a look at this. My ping is 26 and I have enough evidence for that, since I run a YouTube channel. Guess that could also count as evidence that I'm not hacking. Regardless, in the POV of other people, I end up hitting shots like this: (In my POV my shot was completely normal, it didn't do this bending in any way) As you may know, I have made COUNTLESS topics about the usage of scripts, what it can look like if you're facing such a player and yes, at the time I made them they were pretty accurate and with that knowledge, I would have called hacks on myself here as well, 10 out of 10 times. And yeah, I guess that's what my opponents were thinking as well, since they reported me and a battle moderator came to this conclusion: Nowadays however, there is such an INSANE desync going on that literally everyone is hitting those shots. That even 26 Ping, which is the lowest you can get, ends up making shots look like that in someone else's perspective, is nothing but crazy. Their Ping was 51. I've had this account for almost 15 years and besides giving my account away at the age of 12, 14 years ago, there have been no incidents with it whatsoever. I have reported people hacking a lot of times, tried clearing stuff up in the forum, even argued with the developers about aimbot, I'm running a YouTube channel about Tanki and I'm getting blocked just like that, due to the consequences of a server desync that is borderline illegal. Who knows how many innocent people are getting blocked because of this. Of course I have messaged the Tanki support, we'll see how that goes. As long as shots appearing like that are not fixed, the job as a battle moderator, to judge hacks, is redundant. Like this, it's impossible to say whether someone is hacking or not.

    The State Of The Game

    Ladies and gentlemen, I had taken a step back from the game for a while, recently kind of thought hey, let's try out that one game I've been playing for almost two decades, and well - just a couple minutes of playing made me figure out that it's once again time for one of these topics. Before you say "haha, just report them lol", I am very well aware I can do that and I've also done it multiple times in my "career" already. This here is just to raise awareness for the playerbase and perhaps for the devs too, if they even see this. Anyway, in just my SECOND game, I faced this. Check out this compilation (the clip at 0:37 is the best one): Speedhacks, like I haven't seen since Flash days. Look at the speed this player is going, and the game can't detect it at ALL. The situation is honestly worse than before I left. That is far from all, have a look at this, which is kind of funny: The good old no recoil hack, that lets you receive no knockback at all. Look at how the player can't unflip themselves, and how my shot isn't unflipping them either. But now, to the true banger: all hacks united. What do we have here? Speedhack, no recoil hack, vertical aimbot hack, and probably even the horizontal aimbot hack. Look at the speed, how there's no knockback mid air, the vertical angle their shot hit. This is crazy, ladies and gents. That this can't be detected. And of course, we can't forget about the classic, "shooting through walls": Here's actually two things that could be happening. Players can not only toggle some insane horizontal aimbot angle, they also have something called "freeze tanks", that freezes every tank in their POV, making them immovable, easy targets while it's on. With this, you can basically not hide from hackers. Can't really tell what they used here, but I assume it's the "normal" horizontal aimbot stuff. Another one I've caught is this weird jumping: I can't tell you what this is, but I assume it's some sort of glitch caused by their no recoil hack? No idea. There are jump/fly hacks, but I doubt those were used here. So, you know, hacking is unfortunately a pretty big problem in Tanki Online (it's actually a bigger rabbit hole than you may think, all the account sharing, accounts getting unblocked; I could talk about this all day). If I found such a player that easily in Railgun Master, where there's far less tankers around than in Matchmaking, can you imagine how many are using hacks in Matchmaking? It's probably more than you think. And here's where we get to the next problem. The servers. Lag and desync has got so bad, that hacks have become almost invisible to the eye. Whenever you hit someone, the knockback looks glitchy, making it impossible to spot no recoil hacks. Shooting through walls like shown above is happening so many times to everyone now, that you can't tell it apart from aimbots anymore. Literally no tank is driving smoothly in any battle, making it impossible to spot even slight speedhacks. You can glitch yourself through any tank (for years already) easily, making it impossible to spot drive through tanks hacks. And like, I don't want to spoil it for any of yall, but since Tanki Classic is supposed to run on HTML5 too, I'm pretty sure all those hacks we currently have in Tanki Online will work there as well, starting from day 1. Just wanting to let you know to be ready, lol. I get it, the situation with the servers is tricky and pretty much any game is struggling with an anti cheat. But, as sorry as I am to the devs, in this state, the game is not playable. Screw the HD maps and models, these here are the actual issues that make players stop. Including myself, unfortunately.
  8. I've been playing pretty much only XP/BP since 2014, you tell me if it gets boring or not. The good XP/BP players are all from back then and have been doing the same for the most part. I'm pretty sure they're different, since the way Wasp and Hornet drive or the way Railgun is shooting has not changed in XP/BP in years, whereas it has in Matchmaking. Again, this is not about getting experience points, it's more about the scoreboard, since we like to have statistics that show how good we're performing in a battle. You can easily play around low assist timers and shine on the scoreboards, without having significant impact.
  9. *Many of us XP/BP players, not Tanki players in general. It's not about Railgun, it's about the game mode and how it's played, what is involved, the strategies, the balancing etc. Just happens to be a game mode that requires us to use Railgun ? First of all, I highly doubt ANY Railgun player is now gonna host a party because their turret's assist timer was lowered to something that makes assists almost impossible. I'm pretty sure XP/BP already has a different kind of hull and turret balancing compared to Matchmaking (we like that it's different btw). You may love those low assist timers, for whatever reason, but we don't, so maybe this could also be split up?
  10. This just feels like ragebait, I'm sorry. In the topic you mentioned, it was suggested that Railgun's timer should be 10 seconds instead of 5 and others agreed. In patch 802, we mentioned that 3 seconds is better than 1 second, but still not enough, and others agreed. So the conclusion now is going from 5 seconds back to 3? Many of us XP/BP players simply want to have any kind of statistic that shows how good we're doing in the battle compared to others, and assist mechanics that somewhat make sense are part of that. A one second, three seconds, or five seconds assist timer does not really make sense sadly, as you can easily play around those timers and shine on the scoreboards, without having significant impact. That just sucks. We "hide" there because we prefer to not play Matchmaking, simple. No point in engaging in things we don't want to influence, as many of us have no interest in seeing Isida being buffed or nerfed, for example. I get it that many don't care about XP/BP, but believe it or not, us who play Tanki only for that game mode exist, and it's also not an irrelevant amount of players. (On a sidenote, feel free to reduce Hornet's HP to the same as Wasp in XP/BP. Hornet is able to survive two shots randomly and that is pretty unfair, since it can potentially be game winning. That should not be a thing.)

    Ideas for Supplies and Drones!

    Grenades are fun to play with since they can actually change a lot, but the other supplies are a bit less enjoyable. I've talked to a few people, and we would all like to be able to enable only the grenades, without any of the other supplies in Pro battles and Railgun Master. Being able to choose what supplies in general are available could also be a funny idea, but perhaps too crazy.

  14. I have not played Freeze in over a decade probably, but I'm not sure whether this makes sense? You could freeze someone and stop dealing damage to them for one second, the kill gets stolen while they are STILL affected by the freeze, and you get no assist?

Regarding matchmaking, nerfing it on mobile and giving it to PC is something I also don't really understand, but there is still no room for such aim assistance in eSports and Railgun Master, no matter the platform you're on. No game does this. We already suffer enough because of those funny scripts people use.
  16. I also like the beams when capturing flags for example, but I'm still not sure whether only 3 seconds for an assist are optimal. Definitely better than the 1 second, however. By miles.

    Ideas for Game Modes!

    All of this sounds exactly like what Railgun Master already is lol, and honestly, I'd love ranked XP/BP. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't harm the game, but contribute to it. Also, as far as I know, some kind of a ranked game mode is planned currently, but only for clans vs clans. In the past, the devs mentioned it over and over again that they don't want ranked to be part of Tanki. I don't really understand why, though.
  18. It happened to me too recently, I couldn't log in with the client, browser or on mobile; game would load to something between 33-95% and then just stop. There used to be this fix, where you'd use some other official link to load Tanki's resources, but this time it didn't help me either. In my case however, everything kinda fixed itself the next day.
  19. This has been an issue ever since HTML5, it feels as if it's completely random whether the game realizes there are multiple tanks in a row. I don't remember this happening while Flash was still a thing.
  20. Do you remember how everyone was complaining about stealing kills in deathmatch? Ever since pretty much getting rid of assists, literally every game mode is now only about stealing kills. Crazy that that was not adjusted with this update. Railgun Master especially is unplayable with this; you do everything, and see only the ones who land the kills shine on the scoreboard. It's completely flawed.

    Stats

    Since your account seems to be pretty old, you have to know that maybe not all of your stats have been recorded. I used to play lots of Dictator in old Tanki for example, and would you look at that, it shows I have 0 hours on Dictator. They started recording stats shortly before profiles became a thing, so chances are that your old old stats just were not recorded.
  22. It's really not that complicated, out of action means something like you didn't receive damage in a while and didn't deal damage to the ones who were damaging you. You would figure out how much time it takes just the way you're figuring out for how many seconds an assist counts right now. Of course, this is a bit more complicated and would take some effort to implement, but sometimes the simplest solution, such as only adding a timer, is not the best one either, and Tanki wouldn't be the first game to add some more complex assist mechanics anyway. They definitely have the ability to do it, just requires some thought and willpower.
