Freeze m3. I use it personally, and I can do well on ANY map, long or short range. Just stick me with freeze on a fast hull, and I can make wonders happen :) It's a very easy gun to use, has a high DPS, fast reload time, and the freeze effect is devastating. I could talk about it all day, my guide for it is here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=174162 (It's outdated and I am working on revision) Don't buy a paint until you have a higher rank. What I tell people all the time is, buy ONE paint that will be used for the low-med ranks, and set your aim high on TWO or THREE expensive paints for the future. I am not the best example of following this rule, but I only give this advice because I'd hate for people to make the same mistake!

M3 Isida is the better choice for you in my opinion, it helps with rankups, team battles, and it will be an m3 gun. You already have the long range rail, so go for short range now. Titan m2 is very good now compared to mammoth, but using isida on titan is not the best of ideas unfortunately. Rail titan will work, however! Wasp + Freeze m3 is the right way to go man, I use freeze as my main and you can't go wrong with it on a light hull. I use hornet m3 for deathmatches and do amazingly, so I have no doubt in my mind how well wasp will work. Don't buy a paint until you are a higher rank with more options for better protection!! Since you use isida, a light hull is a must-have. So get hornet m1 and save the rest! Titan m2, as titan m3 now dominates the battlefield for the heavy tanks. I'm getting m3 titan and I'll let you know how it is if you don't decide before the sale starts :) Isida m2 will indeed help with QUICK rankups, especially in the mid-range ranks such as you! I think you should buy isida m2 now, and save up for hornet m2 while you continue to rank. Don't stray from the path and buy paints or supplies either. Turret: Freeze Hull: none of the above Paint: Don't buy a paint, wait until you unlock paints such as emerald, inferno, savanna, etc. Here's a guide to crystals: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=163479 For what to buy, it depends on your gaming style, do you like close range or long range, fast gameplay or slow gameplay, defending or attacking? These few questions can help me put you in a category and help you further Viking m1 is a good buy if you don't have a medium hull (dic or hunter m1) already. Do NOT MU m1's dude. Your plan on what to buy sounds good, just don't MU them. 1. No, not when there are sales so often 2. Save some, that way when you rank up and there is a sale, you will have more options. I am saving 100k personally for just that reason. 3. Tons of sales dude, Tanki still has to make money! Less protective paints, can be used in any clan war format, more powerful shots, easier to use at higher ranks I'm going to head you in the direction of Smoky or Thunder, as those are great for med maps and can be used in short or even long range maps. Thunder and hunter, you have a long way to go before you unlock m3 rico, as for the paint, if you have a high protection one already stay away from buying other ones! If you are going to have enough crystals, get the dico-rail kit, otherwise buy m3 hornet and m3 isida, then save!

- Rail - Pros: High power in one shot Knocks tanks off balence Pierces multiple targets Not too many protective paints are on the battle field covering this gun Pretty easy to unlock Cons: Slow reload Slow turning 1 second delay before shooting (can be used to your advantage) - Rico - Pros: High DPS Fast turning Bounces off walls Fast recharge Easy to use Cons: Bad with lower modifications Not as many shots before you have to recharge High rank requirements to unlock Hope I got most of em, any more questions feel free to ask!

Freeze it's the best!
-
Railgun m3 is the better option - less people use protective paints against it and rail can be used in any style clan war. Of the options you listed, m1 freeze is what I would have to recommend, it's good for attacking or defending. No problem, I appreciate the positive feedback. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them here or PM me!

Then I say go for fire, think about long range weapons later! You have a great hull, and other options too. And for paints, if swash is your only paint, then for SURE get sandstone, it will be one of your most useful buys. And I'm not sure about how good MUs are, but go ahead, I think they are fine. It's a more expensive choice for sure, and it's an upgrade from rustle, so I would say yes if you find yourself facing more emerald coverage related players. I would say stay away from mammoth m2, as titan is now better. Once you can get m3 mammoth, go for it, but I tell players to hold off. Looking at the 3 paths, path 2 seems to be the best, but I would say get either railgun OR shaft, as both aren't worth it. Use shaft crystals to get hornet instead, as you will then have a variety in light/medium/heavy hulls

I will indeed answer you! :) So to start off, with the paint sandstone, you are right, the protection is very evenly spread out and covers some main weapons. Just earlier today I saw a marshal using sandstone and doing very well! So I think that is a good buy IF you don't already have a paint with a similar amount of protection against the same guns. Now, about fire. I can tell you for SURE m2 fire is better than m1, infact so very much that if you are a close range gun user in deathmatches, you will massacre all the opponents! With just a little double power you can hit and run, going from tank to tank and before you know you will have 7-8 kills lined up on the scoreboard. ONe thing to think about, is it will be awhile before you unlock m3, so are you going to want to be able to use other guns in that time or just get really good with firebird? Also, firebird is mainly used on a fast hull, so if you don't have hornet, wasp, or hunter then maybe you want to consider something else. Any more questions, please ask!
-
Well think about if buying the kit would achieve your overall goal - if not, upgrade the weapons you want to eventually be m3
-
Rico and viking man, it's the way to go. M2 Freeze is my personal preference. I have the m3 version, and love it! It is great for any gameplay mode, and with your wide selection of hulls you won't find a battle you can't handle! Get m3 thunder then, wasp + thunder m3 is amazing
-
Then I recommend he just saves, it's his best bet to save crystals. He doesn't have to heed my advice, just saying I've been there and done that :)
-
You may find my answer odd, but I think you shouldn't buy any more paints until you unlock something of REAL value. Think about it, when you get a paint like needle, picasso, or inferno, are you going to find yourself back using cedar, tundra, or corrosion? Probably not. Which is why instead, you should save your crystals for bettering your tank and a high quality paint. Corrosion already is pretty balenced, and I would hope it does the job. The real thing that will affect your gameplay with middle ranked players like you is a higher modification of a hull/weapon
-
Dictator m2 would be the better choice in your situation. English please? Viking m1 is cheaper and quicker to upgrade, dictator is not the best anymore, and hunter is expensive. What paints do you have already? I'm assuming you have other m1 turrets already, so hornet m1 is your best bet, as it is cheap, easy to use, and quick to unlock!
-
Isida m2 is a great compliment to your garage and can be used no matter what rank you are
-
@ph: If you have at least ONE good paint go for more hulls/turrets, if you are still shopping around for a high quality paint, rustle is a very nice choice. @sij: It's not great but if you want to it's very possible. The best end paint to use with this combo is prodigi.
-
On my mobile phone so I'll do my best to answer the questions on this page, and get back to all of you in more detail when I have access to a computer. @Stra: Get Viking, it's cheaper and easier to upgrade, and is used by many higher ranks. @Rim: Freeze is looking better according to your hull and the maps you play. I use freeze, and you can't go wrong with it especially at the highest ranks! @Xeno: Go for Rico, twins is nerfed. Though it will take a little bit more time to upgrade, Rico is a wiser investment. @GreekLantern: m3 Viking with m3 freeze is my favorite and has worked great for my many years of playing! @Damar: Upgrade your dictator before you get a paint, you will unlock better paints as you progress through the ranks!
-
Those are good valid points, I think you have a well thought out plan. There is no reason NOT to get cedar, and after all you are the one who is going to be using the tank, not us!
-
I did not know this, that is quite a shame. I loved doing parkour with that combination. It's not that mammoth 'isn't worth it' as much as it is, titan is better now. If you compare the two, though they are both heavy tanks, they are completely different beasts. Titan's balence and mammoth's balance is different, speed - different, turning - different, health - different. It all depends on what you are more comfortable using. Some people say mammoth uses supplies better, others say titan does, you really just have to find what you are comfotable with and work with it.
-
@van: That's not a bad plan, one thing to think about is do you really need the paint? If you already have a good paint, there is no need to spend on something more. If you do want to get a paint, you may want to consider something with more evenly distributed protection, say corrosion. Also, as you rank you will be unlocking many more paints, so keep that in mind as the more costly the paint, the more you will probably use it.
-
You can't go wrong with hornet and isida, I have it m3 and so does just about everyone else at my rank. Though it's not my main combination, I know it's a quick way to rank and I will always be able to use it, even at the highest rank
-
That's a very tricky question to answer, as it all depends on your playing style. If you like large maps playing ctf, you may want hornet, as it is fast yet more stable than wasp, and has the ability to do parkour. Viking and hunter are for covering players, or heavy attackers. If you don't want to capture all the flags, but prove to be a formidable opponent, this is the way to go. For heavy tank users, or players who like defense, mammoth and titan have both ups and downs, but overall titan is the better choice. Dictator is pretty tall and balenced, and falls into the medium - heavy category somewhere in between viking and titan. Maybe not the best choice.
-
@legend: If you have other m3 hulls, get thunder m3, if you don't get viking m3 @mohamad: Best m1-m1 combination - wasp rail, Best m2-m2 combination - freeze hornet/wasp
-
I will do my best to answer all the current questions, if I miss something I apologize, just ask an dI will get back to you as soon as I can! @FC: I recommend that you just forget about twins, as now it is massively underpowered and you will be extremely dissapointed with the m3 version. Firebird on the other hand still retains much of its power, and it would be a great buy for anyone looking to have a solid close range gun to use (other than freeze) @Halo: I wish I knew what the prize was, but I don't care, 700 crystals is nothing :D You have a very insteresting situation, and I like to work with players that have a similar setup to you. As is seems, you like close range weapons, but are having trouble facing long range turrets. In this case, I urge you strongly to not buy a better paint, but more focus on upgrading your turrets, hulls, or even considering buying a new turret to upgrade! From looking at your garage, you only have titan, which is fairly slow and clumsy (I'm buying m3 :D) so I'd recommend buying an m3 light hull such as hornet or wasp. Hornet is so much cheaper and easier to unlock so sticking with that would be cheap. Stay away from paints, as you unlock much better ones later in the game. @In10: Mammoth + supplies is simply wonderous. Viking is good for battles without supplies, or those that don't have mammoth. Titan is now the 'better' version of mammoth, and awesome with drugs. Since you have mammoth upgraded already, sticking with that won't be a dissapointment as the m2 has whooping health. I have m2 mammoth and am not afraid to use it in my high ranked battles, so that is a great all around choice! @parth: Just save, it's your best bet @123sess: I understand your position on python buddy! Though it's not the most beautiful, it has good protection, and you should stick with it instead of buying other paints. Depending on what guns you have m2, I would almost definitively reccomend hornet - it's cheap, easy to use, and quick to upgrade! And it goes well with any gun. Isida is a great choice if you don't want high K/D ratios, while rail is great fro sniping, and can be used in clan wars. @Stra: Don't upgrade a hull you don't think you will be using later on, stick to hornet and mammoth. You don't necessarily need a mid class hull yet. @Sorinel: Can't go wrong with isida - hornet combination, so get that first. Since you are used to railgun, also get that m3, because then you will long and short range variety. For paints, normally I advise against buying too many, but I instead will tell you to get one, and that is corrosion if your rank allows it. If not reply to me the highest possible paint for your rank and I'll explain to you which is best. @lik: Freeze is awesome, I have m3 and if you stick with it you will not regret it! It's currently my main weapon ;) @tsdd: Savanna for sure. With that massive smoky protection and some rail coverage, smokys will hate you and stay away, whether it be TDM, CTF, DM, or CP! @Xen & Goku: It's not the best of other m2's out there, but you won't be unhappy with the purchase. I have m2 rico, and I use it occasionally, but it cannot stand up to m3's. @fighter: Spark, it has the LEAST spread out protection (only 3 guns) which leaves maximum % protection for those parameters. Those 3 guns are very commonly used between high and low ranks, and I sometimes even use my spark paint in high ranked battles, so it won't be sitting in your garage for no use! Hope I helped, any more questions - just ask.

Glad I could help! Good luck, and see you in the battle!
-
So you have freeze and thunder, that covers your close and mid range, maybe go for something long range? A lot of players love using rail, and shaft has been made very good so if you wanted you could go for that, though I would hold off on shaft until some final adjustments are made. If you don't have any reasonable paints (over 40k) than going for rustle wouldn't be that bad of an idea, as you still have some ranks to go up, and freeze, thunder, and isida are pretty commonly used among middle ranks (aka you)
-
Those paints are all good, but personally I believe you will rank faster than you know it, and you will end up spending more times at the higher ranks. At the high ranks, you benefit WAY more from a better paint, so my recommendation would be use the paints you already have, and think about upgrading a new gun, or even trying out a new one! What weapons are you currently using? And for more sales, they usually have one in may, july, october, and then in december. Sometimes little sales roll along during those months (no guarantee) and those are 15-30%. Also this year tanki had sales on individual turrets and hulls that are 50% and greater
