Recently they updated the anti-cheat mechanism, so there should be a lot less jump hackers stealing your golds during the celebrations. Indeed, it can throw people off a bit.

No, only the special holiday missions will be removed after the celebrations are over. All other missions will remain. Gold boxes will not have containers, gold boxes will contain 1000 crystals. Now if you're lucky, a black box will fall instead, those have containers in them.

The helpsite's not all that bad..;p At the start, Ben and kenanahmed were commentating, then at around 40 minutes into the stream, The.L-E-G-E-N-D and Lucifer took over. Then from around 60 minutes, it was Ben and The.L-E-G-E-N-D. At 1 hour and 14 minutes, kenanahmed came back again to replace The.L-E-G-E-N-D.

I agree with what you said, except for this part. Post count in it self doesn't say all that much, but many players that aren't active on the forum at all can be considered exemplary players. It's not easy to pick from so many tankers in this game, but it's something personal. What do you think defines the best player? Is it skills? Team spirit? Knowledge of the game? Willingness to help? It's something you can only decide for yourself.

If we're going to allow help topics to be created here, it will interfere with the discussion topics and this will again turn into a P&S section. We simply want to keep all of it in one place. We do have a Q&A topic here, because players should be able to ask questions on any platform. We also have the bugs and glitches topic, because it's easier to collect reports from those here than on the helpsite.

Less lags after the maintenance. This is not a server update to implement holiday goodies or anything, for those you'll have to wait till the end of this week/next week at least.

Same thing with the Event helpers, they put in a lot of work to provide fun events on a regular basis, but only a little tip of all that work is seen on the forums.

Your expertise can also be used on the help site. Every player can answer, give solutions and provide help in general on the help site, and is welcome to do so. Many players have shared their knowledge there already. The reason the P&S section on the forum got closed is simple: there is a dedicated help site. Having everything in one place makes it easier for everyone, both in terms of seeking help and in terms of providing help.

You can use part of the V-LOG, because the V-LOGs are owned by Tanki. Now if were to use part of a video clip of a famous artist, then you'd be using copyrighted content. Since it says in the main announcement "All of the rights to the video are transferred to the contest organizer upon submitting the video through the special contest form." that would basically mean Tanki is using copyrighted content. Sergei already said that you could use part of a V-LOG in your entry, as long as it's not the main part of the video.

Many of them know how to activate overdrive, but sadly they either refuse to use it or they're holding on to it just in case a gold box might drop.

They weren't referring to the New Year celebrations here, but to plays for next year (2018). Some of these plans include the Rugby mode on the Stadium map, Assault tournaments and the new game modes in PRO battles.

Since there's no such thing as sabotage in DM matches, that would be an option indeed, but I don't think it will improve gameplay in any way.

If crystal boxes are added back, they will be taken from the battle fund. In other words, you'll be getting a smaller amount of crystals at the end of a battle. Back when crystal boxes were removed, they got added to the battle fund instead. Crystal boxes are a good way for players to earn some crystals when they can't finish the battle (for which ever reason), or when the enemy team is far stronger than them. However, crystal boxes are also a huge distraction and encourage many players to sabotage the battle a little or a lot by chasing crystals instead of opponents. Because of that, I personally don't think they should be added back.

Another factor to keep in mind is that the total player base is divided into several communities, of which the Russian is the biggest one. Both points you've mentioned can indeed cause imbalanced battles. The plan for overdrives is to implement specific overdrives for each hull type, then the whole mechanism will work differently and each hull will get a different 'special ability'. How that will affect balance still remains to be seen, but I hope they will find a way to improve the balance with it. As for magnum, your complaint has been forwarded, I hope they will get to making that turret more balanced soon.
