Inspired by Jokjinari So, recently Jokjinari started a topic teaching people how to make trends. This started a new trend of "How to..." topics. In this topic I wish to keep this trend going. So, I have decided I will teach you the fine art of Harlem Shaking. Some History on the Harlem Shake: The backing track for all the Harlem Shake videos was a song made by Baauer which was released on May 22, 2012. Much later, in late January 2013 the first person had the idea to make a random dance video with the track "Harlem Shake - Baauer" in the background. A few hours after this video was uploaded to YouTube it went virally bananas! Over 10K people made their own Harlem Shake video in the first week of the release. You will need: A Camera 2+ People Bacon Step 1. Set up you're camera or screenrecorder, depending on whether you are filming a real life video or a tanki one. Step 2. Gather some friends and get ready to film your shake. Step 3. Let all except one of your friends assume a normal position, (i.e. checking your phone, reading a book or sleeping.) Step 4. The one person who is not in a normal position will start dancing randomly once the camera is recording, (suggested dance moves: Berny, Cat daddy, Dougie or Random.) Step 5. Do that for about 10 seconds then pause the camera. Get all of your friends to maybe put on some costumes or get ready in whatever way. Step 6. Un-pause your camera and flip out! Do what ever you like but just make sure it's extremely immature and wack! Step 7. After about 15 seconds of recording that stop the camera. Step 8. Then edit your video and put in the "Harlem Shake - by Baauer" with perfect timing. Then you're ready to upload to YouTube. Step 9. Reward yourself by eating Bacon. Good Luck! ツ
