Looks interesting, will have to check them out, gameplay on the updated maps will be interesting, especially clan wars.

Tanki is aware of the problem, they've suspended the current clan tournament (See http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=185603&do=findComment&comment=3375560 ) and from what I've heard it's an issue for a lot of players. I guess we'll just have to wait for them to fix it, not much else we can do.

I think there are a few things that keep me here. Firstly, and most importantly, the friends I've made, especially in my clan. Secondly, my staff job, which is really enjoyable and finally, the game itself is fun, there is nothing like the feeling of satisfaction after winning a drug war after hours of playing, or winning a game by capturing in the last few seconds.

Welcome to the second part of 'Chronicles of a Newbie'! This month has been pretty successful, despite the large amounts of work I've had to do, which has limited the amount of time I've been able to play. I took more screenshots this month, so I will put them in spoilers in the article to avoid it being unnecessarily long. We pick up on the 27th of December, in the middle of collecting the toys for the 'Decorate a Christmas Tree' event. I collected all 7 toys and got the prize as a result, which was quite nice, although the Daily Bonus at Sergeant isn't that much. At this point I wasn't playing too much as I still had a valid Score Multiplier Pass on my other account. The next noteworthy thing was the New Year Sale, where I got M0 Freeze, M0 Ricochet and M0 Hornet. I also entered THE GAME, and got the supplies, which meant I could finally drug in games if I needed to. The next time I played properly was on the 11th of Jan, which was a Saturday. I had decided I had nothing better to do all day, so I got up, ate food, then played Tanki until Dinner in the evening. I got 7000 xp and earned around 3000 crystals, including a new highest reward of 1197. I also continued my streak of being better at getting Gold Boxes on this account than my main one, as I got a 3000 GB in the battle where I got my highest reward. As it's only 5200 xp between Sergeant and Staff Sergeant, I also ranked up, and guess what, it was in that same battle! I had missed one before in the same battle, but I had no chance as there was a lot of people between me and it. For this one, I camped at the edge of the space with drugs, one shotting anyone in the middle and managed to stay alive so my drugs ran out. I saw the gold falling, and there was no-one around, so I thought 'You're mine', activated another set of drugs, and drove over and took it with no resistance! That makes it one of each type of Gold, 1000, 2014 and 3000 that have been around since I made the account. So yeah, it was a pretty good game! I'm guessing by now you actually want to see this game, so here it is: That game took a while, about 2 hours, and then I had to go eat, so drugged to capture the last two flags quickly :P There was another battle worth talking about, and here it is: You can just see the flags through the taskbar. It may not seem that significant, but let me explain. As you can see in the picture, I have just capped a flag, and the game has ended. However, neither team got the target number of flags, which means I capped that flag seconds before the end of the game. With around three minutes left, we had druggers capture our flag to make it a draw, and with a minute left, I activated my drugs and went on the attack, grabbed the flag and ran. I managed to get out cleanly, destroying a tank in my way with the help of a team-mate. Had their been any delay, I wouldn't have capped in time. The feeling of satisfaction that the druggers on the other team hadn't take the win from us and the exhilaration of capturing at the last minute was pretty good! See the spoiler for more pics of that day: I had used Freeze for a couple of battles, but I didn't like what happened to my D/L, so I ended up using Railgun still, although I was using Hornet now, so at least one of my purchases is useful! I played a few more games the next day, getting another 1000 xp and some more throughout the week, although nothing worth going on about. See spoiler: So, that's been my month, a few very productive days, and a lot of days not playing. I was hoping to rank up again, but I've been unable to play the last few weekends due to my workload. 10k xp and 7k + crystals spent earned. Rating has gone up a fair bit too. So, that's me, let's go to Raphael now. Day 5 (07/01/2014) I spend a few days micro-upgrading my items, mostly Railgun and Titan (pic). I join a Fort Knox DM, in which I get to ally with "MrSmileProAzazaz" who is Russian as we can guess by his nickname. (pic) Then I join a sweet Highland TDM game until I have to leave. (pic) My gaming time is over, I need to work :rolleyes: Recap + 469 points ++ Day 6 (08/01/2014) Today, my only goal is to rank up! Shouldn't be hard as I need less than 200 points. I rank in an Iran battle (pic) and my new rank looks quite cool, I prefer it to the last one. I only play one other game, with my favorite combo, Titan and Railgun. (pic) Once again I don't have much time and leave right after it. :( Recap + + 510 points Day 7 (11/01/2014) Today is a huge day! Nah just kidding, nothing special. I start with a short DM to warm up (pic), then I join a Fort Knox CTF battle (pic), then I wanna feel lighter and run a marathon with my Wasp (pic), to end calmly, camping, to cool down. (pic) Recap + 1283 points Day 8 (12/01/2014) I decide to play with Smoky, which I haven't used for ages. It works well (pic) but I get back to my Railgun. I try to play with Lhamster, but the battle we joined has an enemy drugging (and one drugger at this rank is enough to handle a whole team). So we leave. Later on, I join the same battle, in the team of the drugger - we make the whole team quit.. And then the drugger changes side. I leave not to destroy my D/L (pic). I join a last battle, which is joined by ibeatlhamsterRaphael. This guy has sent Lham and I friend requests some days after the publishing of the latest issue, but it is the first time I get to see him. I get some explanations from him! Recap + 841 points Day 9 (14/01/2014) Today, I find a good Sandox DM which lasts 15 minutes. I only have time to play it twice. (pic; pic) The first battle is better, because during the second game, two Rails only focus on me. I rank up during the second game! (pic) Recap + + 1060 points Day 10 (15/01/2014) I play a not so good Serpuhov because the enemies keep attacking and they are everywhere. (pic) Then, feeling so heavy, I decide to get my Wasp for a Sandbox CTF. I play very aggressively and capture most of the flags. Regrettably I have a team which is really NOT skilled, they seem not to understand that you have to capture flags to win. The Hunter even blocks me from getting a gold box! (pic) I use my first ever supplies for it! Right after pikcel1000 takes the gold box, I capture a flag and kill three of them straight. pikcell is a skilled opponent, he joined around the middle of the battle but he still captured three flags. As soon as the battle ends, I leave. (pic) Seeing that the enemy team has free places too, I decide to join and take my revenge! My new enemies are all Wasps. My Rail kills 'em all! Unfortunately they seems so scary that our two teammates leave, leaving pikcel and I alone for a long time. It doesn't affect our gameplay much, we still have time for attacking! :lol: Then some random guys join and are enough to defend rather rightly. pikcell adds me as a friend and we win the game. (pic) Finally, I get my Titan back and join ANOTHER Serpuhov battle. I get a rather good score in mixed conditions, with two Shafts hunting us campers but on the other hand 3 Wasps and Hornets kept attacking (easy targets). (pic) Happy of my day, I log off. Recap + 1650 points Day 11 (25/01/2014) I have been busy for the second part of this month. Today, I've got crystals as Daily Bonus (pic), I've entered the Second "Where have I seen that" Twitter contest and got my 20k reward (pic) and yesterday, I've bought Hornet and Viking at the hulls discount. (pic) Today, I try my new Viking with Smoky. I like it, it has a considerable high health with a good speed. It's stability fits Smoky and I can rely on it to get back into cover. I try it in another Highland battle. (pic) Then I try Hornet+Smoky which is not bad at all too. (pic) Later, I put Rail on Viking and get back in the same first battle, it works well aswell! (pic) Unfortunately a Shaft kills me twice. And to finish my review, I try out XP (hog's guide will help you with that combo) in New Year DM and it would have been perfect if another Railgun wasn't hunting me down. I don't know exactly what Lham has done yet, but let's hope that I beat him next month! :lol: Looks like Raph has failed to beat me again! I5-3337U isn't bad I guess, you need to upgrade RAM though. Touchscreen is nice too. For $100 you really can't complain :P
