That's a given that you must make it yourself and not use someone else's work. I am the Reporter admin, I am not a formal employee of Tanki and I had literally nothing to do with this contest. Yes, there is more chance of getting a consolation because there are more than 3 of them. Simple maths. I have not commented on whether I think the judging is correct or not. I am speaking to the people who have acted immaturely and know better. I am not talking to a kid who does not know better. And you know this how? You have spoken to all these kids in the 10 or so mins since my post?

I have no idea, I never said I agreed with the judging, but the results are what they are. Yes they say all, but then qualify it with 'still deserves recognition'.

The judges (whoever they are) gave out prizes to all they thought deserving of recognition in the results. link with a timestamp please...

Taking inspiration from a computer drawn image and making your own real 3d version is not against the rules. Please show me the original picture that got photoshopped if it is a fake. Please highlight where it says 'everyone'.

They never said that. They said there would be a prize for some entries slightly lower than the first 3 places. The 10k to a bunch of people is an extra on top of that.

The last few pages are hilarious to read, a lot of butthurt people. I see similar things when results of Newspaper contests come out. Everyone seems to thing their thing is the best, but that's kind of natural, what they can't seem to grasp is that they are not judging and the judging is subjective, not objective. The 'deserves recognition' is the equivalent of consolation prizes, and there is no way you would give a consolation prize to everyone who entered, especially in a contest this size. If that was going to be the case, it would have explicitly said so, and the consolation prize would be much smaller. So it seems some people need to grow up a little, and learn to take not winning a bit better, cause that's exactly how life is. There's nothing wrong with that, they gave out their deserves recognition prizes, and then felt there were still more people who deserved a little something. Had Tanki stuck to the letter of what they said, they could have easily got nothing. And that's exactly what's he's done, left. And he's no longer a reporter. (Yes, IK I haven't gotten around to removing his avie and powers.)
