Yes, it's best to first have a combo done, then start the next one. In the start, you might get 3-5 things m1, choose which ones you want to upgrade, and upgrade those to m2. After that, you'll have some time to get other stuff m2 as well, or save for m3 stuff.

Depends on map, situation, position, skills, and with smoky 8% of luck.

So this is basicly guide on how to break a rule when using that combo.
