I use Railgun myself, and I don't bother about its power. I'd buy Hornet M1, since it's much stronger than M0, just as Railgun is from M0 to M1, but with M0 Railgun you can still handle a lot.

Hornet M1 Railgun M1 Isida M1 Thunder M1 I mostly use Hornet/Railgun, sometimes I use Isida & Thunder too, bought Isida because I liked that before rebalance, and Thunder because it was overpowered. Than started loving Railgun and it seemed to me as a great gun, my timing was (and still is) very well, compared to my enemies who get crazy of me shooting them just a little faster than they can. I'm now trying to get Hornet M2, feeling that my tank is getting weaker and weaker against others.. But after that, what should I buy? I'm thinking of Railgun M2, or a paint, like Roger (because I like it, and protection isn't my biggest problem) I'm used playing with a weaker tank, and still being on top, or somewhere near 1st position. So, what do you think? Btw, I'm a mid-fielder, help attacking mostly, sometimes, when neccessary, I'll defend, but I prefer driving somewhere in the middle and than moving up to enemy base.

Sometimes, when just wanting to have fun, I play a Silence and see a friendly wasp drive up a ramp, I shoot him at the last moment with my Rail, and... *poof* =wasp is upside down... They're so funny to play with <-- To make them go crazy while shooting them upside down again and again :D

You could still try playing with Thunder, all new things are needing to be learned. (rebalance, Update 123) Assumming you'll be able to buy them, qua rank, you can still try to play with Thunder. If you don't, try using Isida. Or try figuring out which one you like playing most with: The versitale Thunder or combined with Mammoth probably defending Isida.

Go for Hornet M1. Suggesting that you use Isida with it, you still have pretty some HP. So yes, get cry's for Hornet M1, and than upgrade Hornet/Isida to M3-M3. I use Hornet/Railgun M1-M1, trying to get Hornet M2. I also have Thunder M1, which is pretty strong, maybe even much stronger many times, but I don't enjoy playing with it. If you use Hornet with Isida, you'll have fun of enemies getting annoyed of not being able to kill you, but I still think Railgun is the most fun to play with, out of these 3. So, for the fun, I'd take Railgun, but than about the scores... Railgun isn't always the best attacking gun, so you shouldn't expect to capture all to much flags. Everyone has a different playing style, but with the right playing style, using railgun, you can get on top, instead of being somewhere in the middle, where I see many railgun players, while the only thing they do is camp... It's up to you, but for the fun I'd cross Thunder out, for score Isida would be the best, but in my opinion, Railgun takes the lead.

You can start a second account and try some gun and hull combo's, to try which suit you the best. That might be a better option than buying everything on your relative high account. (I bought most things on my big account, because i couldn't choose too first, it's like *-*)

^ The gun you play best with. It's all about gaming style, and how you're used to play Tanki. I love Railgun, Isida and Freeze, others love Thunder, or maybe Smoky or Twins. Others again prefer Shaft. So again: Like it's said lots of times: "Depends on you gaming style"

It's a good option. Actually, a railgun those long not shoot all the damage the stats say it does. So you will survive every M2 Railgun shot, (without DP ofcourse)... I think it's a good option for you to buy Tundra.

^ I don't care what hull you use with any gun. Just have fun and be good, no matter if it might seems strange in other people's eyes. I already told you to take Smoky, because you might have gone camping with Thunder, but as you 'drive around' with Shaft already, take Thunder. At M1, it's very strong, for a long time, but after that damage sort of 'decreases' because hulls get much better, but it still is stronger than Smoky.

^ He probably was a camper, with Shaft. I would take Smokey, it is less strong than Thunder, so you won't go camping fast, +less people have protection against it.

I hope this isn't seen as a complaint. With the rebalance, prices went up, just as the rank generalissimo was added, why would you earn less crystals than, it was in balance already, i'll show you: Did the risen prices already compensate the new ranks? I mean, first, you could have an Tier 2 M3-M3 combo for 41.390 crystals (Viking M3-Freeze M3) Now, if you want that same combo, having 400.000 xp more 'time' to earn it, you have to pay 57.150 (x10, so that makes 571.500) which is: 57.150/41.390=1,3807....., which comes to= 1,4. The maximum XP was gone up with 1,4 (1.000.000 to 1.400.000) so that makes the decreasing of the crystals, in my opinion, useless. Other combo's, I left the x10 stuff to make it easier to see. Viking-Ricochet= From 50650 to 68290. Makes 68290/50650=1,348272458=1,35 (nearly 1,4) Hornet-Isida= From 25.100 to 50.755. Makes 50775/25100= 2.022111554= 2,02 (so that already is +0,6 more crystals, and the speed of getting crystals is decreased to 0,7 :huh: ) Mammoth-Thunder= From 32340 to 66.030. Makes 66030/32340=2,04174397= 2,04 The new prices made up for the 400.000 XP extra to earn. Now you've destroyed the balance by decreasing crystal income with 7. This is the truth, and numbers can't lie, that's what they told me. Now, look at those numbers, they would already be more expensive without Update 123. So again: explain why, because it was unnessecary.

^ Good reason, dude, good reason. What mchen said: +1. I use Hornet+Railgun, both M1. Nearly everyone uses M2 stuff but I own them. Railgun is a gun which is able to walk behind a little to still have scores --> crystals, while they're hard to get in these times..
