I think what we are just recently experiencing here, are new members who have not viewed the POTD topic post (below). In addition to the topic posts prime instruct, are the POTD rules including that of PM use. It's fine to comment and banter in this topic. However when it gets to the point where that dialogue goes on for the length of an entire page or two, it's time to move it to the PM. I hope everybody can be considerate enough of form members to respect the fact that other members might like to have some input without having to navigate the flood. P.S. Suggestion: Create a topic like, "Discuss what did you do today in the Battle". :)

I understand what you are asking. Below is the topic post for "Real photo". There are two factors involved when comparing that topic to POTD. "Real Photo" is a topic where forum members can show other members what they look like. The original rule of that topic called for no discussion. As time passed, a number of individuals continuously broke that rule. And so, a new topic was created for that extensive social interaction. The statement "You can discuss players' photos here", was added when the Real Photo topic discussion topic was created. As for POTD: This topic involves an extensive variety of "photo forms", rather than just one photo. Such as, battle, gold box, rank-ups, etc., and other screen shots; scorecards, cartoon images, memes, gifs, photos, something of your own creation (drawings, etc.), or any other type of image that you think would be of interest to the community. Because of the wide range of photo forms related with POTD, The convenience of immediate comment is paramount to the "Thread" of this topic. Whereas, "Real Photo" is not a "Thread topic", a separate topic was eventually necessary. P.S. I hope this clears up a few questions you may have. I could have gotten into more detail, but my dog is doing the PP dance, and in need of his nightly walk. :)
