Tanki Online Update (Daily Missions) What we are looking for in them
swede1 replied to duck100101 in Archive
good for them, I guss they have to find some way to keep players interested in the game, the best mission would be, "find 100 mult battles" shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to do that O_o -
Tanki Online Update (Daily Missions) What we are looking for in them
swede1 replied to duck100101 in Archive
They won't be adding missions, now that the cat is out of the bag and players have found out that they have been wasting time and money on this game for several months working on their accounts, future revenue will not warrant anymore investment in updates of the current platform. All of the recent updates from the launch of the revised eula have been geared to get players to invest in this game, from the addition of new turrets and paints, 100% experience multiplier, tank and supply kits, MU and discounted crystal purchases to name a few. Every player should be furious over these tactics. Why should we believe any future announcements, "don't worry" they say, well I'm worried, and you should be too. -
The forum staff will be quite pleased with this topic, fun, usless, and completely irrelevant discussion.

[Issue 1] [Real life problems] Arguments. What are they? How to stay away from them?
swede1 replied to golden5648 in Archive
Sorry, I don't agree. I feel it is important to speak your mind, holding in your feelings and putting on a happy face never solves a problem and is inherently unhealty, as in the case of Robin Williams, may he rest in peace. hopefully people can find a way to work through their problems in a compassionate and thoughtful manner , but occasionally it can lead to arguments and anger, and that's OK too, take a break and figure out a way to work it out and in the long run everyone will be truly happier. -

I won't Lol,I am very intuitive and resourceful, with a flare for the melodramatic and controversial viewpoint. -

Right, an account in a game full of mults, hackers, with no mods, or anti cheats updates and second rate servers.

The way I see it, either it's a done deal and this path was decided months ago and they have been leading players on this whole time, or unity has been a figment of their imagination this whole time and it's nothing more than smoke and mirrors, since the project was announced and "started" more than a year ago and it's been nothing more than a concept this whole time, with a bunch of props.

I read that Tanki feels their game is nothing more than a coin slot pinball machine of the 1980s and put your quarter in and you play for enjoyment once the game ends you are welcome to put another quarter in and play again. This is a fallacy, in an online MMO game once you start, your experience is alway saved and the game continues from where you left off, it doesn't reset after each log on. What Tanki is proposing is walking away from a failure while continually milking the remaining players for any revenue it can take and tell them they are welcome to stay in the mess they created for as long as players wish to continue without further support from them. If this game is not going to be continued and the consumers will no longer get support, stop taking money for it and pull the plug like you would on a broken pinball machine.

All the players have been trying to help the Developers with their CBT problem, I hope you guys are getting better :D
-
CBT lol, I like first google post on this Search ResultsCognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy. It was originally designed to treat depression, but is now used for a number of mental illnesses. It works to solve current problems and change unhelpful thinking and behavior.

I'm not interested in supplies, to me, its a huge waste of their resources to place on such an event when they could do so much more with that time building player loyalty and retention.

How many of our current forum regulars do you expect to be here in the next 4 years?
swede1 replied to DanTheKiller1 in Archive
I will be here forever more I've left my mark on this game In the forum and in battles faught Its in in the bits and bytes of cyber posts In all the chats and jokes with friends made I will be remembered when I'm gone I will be here forever more -
Honestly, its not a job I would wish on anyone, at least not for an online game. Maybe for Skype, Facebook, Linkedin or some other platform where one can actually make a difference.
-
I wish I had good reason to join staff, but every time I consider applying, the same thing goes through my head. No matter how hard I try, I will never make a valuable difference to the game, and all I would be doing is grinding away at a losing battle , very much like the soldiers on the front line in the Vietnam war.
-
No one cares anymore, that's the bottom line, if it feels like its not worth it, then trust your gut, IT'S NOT WORTH IT! just do like every other Gmos out there and quit or start a new account and get a group of friends and pwn low ranks, that's whats happening now. There is no way to advance in this game anymore.

It would be great to have the video taken from the offending players perspective showing the players actions just like a black box on a plane, it would then be totally undeniable proof of players actions. Ie: letting opponents get away when shot is available, blocking teammates, pretending to be lagged out, continuous pausing, and inaction, self distructiion and other/new technics used by saboteurs.

Here's your answerhttp://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=242143&view=findpost&p=4332902
-
Yeah, it is only M3s that are effected, especially rail, and close combat weapons that require quick turret rotation, its actually quite an improvement for lower modifications and slow turning turrets and hulls
-
renewed fun in the game :) and FYI, I have no drugs to use

Is it possible??? Did they only do this to fill space on their dev section because they couldn't think of anything to put there :O I can visualize the conversation in the Perm office, wow had a great vacation, guess I should lock those old posts from the May revenue drive, but then the topic will be empty. Anyone have any ideas? And Hazel pipes up, "sure, give me two seconds and I'll just adjust the camera speed, it should fill your topic up real quick and we can all have a good laugh as well." And Semyon says" great that should keep them busy and make for a few good laughs, we should have a bet on how many down votes it gets too."
