I myself tried playing tanki from Kongregate, they have limited features as compared to our main site. The version you played there is more like a demo version of tanki. You can make an acc there without any proper registration that's why you aren't able to log in with the Warrant Officer 2 account here. I would advice you to discontinue with that version and make a new account here from the main site so you can enjoy all the features of Tanki Online and play without any problem with your progress getting saved all the time.That way you can enjoy Tanki at full potential.

You might wanna consider buying cedar or tundra since you will find both thunder and rails all over the battle field. If you buy cedar then you will be well protected against other thunders and your own weapon too (splash damage). Tundra can really be a life saver sometimes, since 1 rail shot would do enough damage to your tank that might even kill you if you are low in HP but thanks to this paint, now you'll be able to face rail shots with a little more ease.

Both are pretty good, Rico is a medium range weapon so it is limited to a certain distance but it is very powerful as for now and hence can be used to attack and defend too in CTFs and is also good for DMs too. Rail is an unlimited range weapon so it can be quite useful in big maps and can still be used even in small maps with no problems, it's usually used for defending purposes in CTFs, you can still attack with it if you want but probably you will die most of the time in that case. Also if you play or you might want to play XP then it's a good choice.

Hull kit is pretty much very useful overall cause you will be getting Hornet,Mammoth,Hunter and Viking all M2s, and if you get it then you won't be needing any hulls even if you rank quite a few ranks since you have most of the hulls already If we assume that you have a good weapon already then surely go for it. Thunder M1 is really good at your ranks so there is no problem getting it but later on after you rank up few times you may find that there are many people having anti thunder paints so that might annoy you a little bit, but other than that it's good.
