Think before rebalance. Where were you then? M3/M3 with epic paint at WO5 and 250K isn't all that much to save up, if you have the time and play long battle with friends you can get that amount within 3 weeks.

It really doesn't depend on your karma, sometimes after a year or more even if you had a horrible karma you get unbanned when the game goes through a major update and stuff.

There is also year bans. Forever bans usually last 2 years or so. (experience speaking.)
