When i finished my studies I needed a job there was only a few jobs about and only people with experience where getting these jobs, by going working for free for 6 months i got the experience that was needed to walk into a good well paid job. Others on my course who did not do as i did took a couple of years to get work that was related to the course. So by the time they got into working i had already got 2 years experience and a promotion. Think it has paid off big time.

Many industries are so competitive that you need experience in that trade, i can show you 50+ people who are now doing work for free to get the experience so they can get paid work in the industries they have picked. Now days a bachelor degree is not worth much, so many now going on to masters and PHD.

Interns you from the US? i am on about in the UK and it nothing unusual for someon who has just finished a uni course to go get unpaid work to gain the experience thats needed for that job.

Well i volunteered at a old floks home from the age of 13 did this for about 5 years, taught IT to old folk for 3 years from the age of 15 to 18. My results from school where not good enough to get me into uni but I got in because of my work I did volunteering. So getting into uni doing free work got me my place, first job the free work help me get as it set me apart from the other graduates. So you first job dont have to be paid work for free it will help you out alot. Why do you think many graduates go work for a few years for free to get some experience.

I take what your saying on board, but having done contracts for MOD, Airbus, Dyson, NHS, and many other big companys i have found that real world experience tend to mean more then have done a roll online for a game. If like you have both like you then all the better but if a pick of one or the other then i think its a no brainer. But then I also guess it depends what the job or course is.

if i am looking at a cv and the 2 main differences are 1 has experience at helping in a game and the other has volunteered out in the real world I know what one i would pick for the job.

Might get a quick mention if it has any relevance, but it would only be a glancing mention. Now i emloy people and would look far more on someone who maybe can show skills or work out side of a game, maybe take some of your spare time to help out more in the community. If computer skills is your thing maybe sign up to help out at a silver surfers. Also only keep on your cv what is of need you can over do it to the point the cv will be put in the bin before its been fully looked at.

Dont get this, What the odds of finding double the amount every day. An i you are on about only finding a penny a day after 6 days you have 6p, or after 1 year you will have £3.65 not exactly worth the effort.

Well downloaded the client and into a battle in under 50seconds not bad going, next time i will not need to download so should be faster still. Down sides I will let you know as I play and find some. To much infomation when you press R, we dont need to know someones hornet viking thunder etc is m2 or m3 we can see that with our eyes. Dont think the amount of mus is important to see either.

Cedric I think the main problem here is all the lag and removal from battles, think it needs to be sorted first before such a big update can be launched. To get into the map drive around and find out what protection everyone has take to much time then working out what module to use and load, people knew what protection everyone had by paints it was easy to know and change accordingly. In a battle of noise I had to get in to enemy base and press R look and try to take in what everyone had and change, the time it took for this to happen i was killed, so had to be killed to gain this info. Was much easier to do before as you could just tell by sight and keep playing. You can't play and kill why pressing R and taking in any info you need.

Can't see your point a nokia has no camera, touch screen etc, the i phone has many nice things like a camera etc so yes you pay more for more. The paint are just a skin so a case these very a bit but not to much.

No a Blue Sphere is only 100k zeus is 500k so not half as much but 5x more.

Think bringing out this new update is silly at the moment. Just been in a game and everyone got disconected got back into lobby and every one saying about lag. guys coming over from en3 and saying they are having problems. Maybe sort out the problems with lag and disconections before bringing out a big update.

I think windows 10 is fine just takes some getting used to. Trouble is most don't like change and find it hard at first to find there way around.
