I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that if you go there, the server will auto-think that that's a Wall Hack and it will stay in your ban record. So, I don't go there. It is a glitch, but it's not really needed to be fixed, just don't go there and instead jump over it or something. You didn't. Please get to know certain problems and how to fix them before you comment here.

Like I said, that would be a very bad update to Tanki Online. If you or @bdeck would like that to happen, you can put it on feedback as well. However, if it auto-switched at the end of the battle, it would be a lot more fair and just. You should be able to turn it on or off as some people would want it off if they want to have a battle with friends and they ONLY want them to be on their team.

I suggested this, but instead at the END of a battle. So, it would auto-switch at the end of a battle, and even things out. It should definitely NOT do it during and Tanki Online would never do that, but after would be nice. It's still under-review. @MrXenboss, kindly put all your ideas on the Tanki Online feedback, please.

You don't get a discount price for the next modification unless you micro-upgrade a spec to it's maximum. If you do that, there should be a reasonable discount. However, to fully micro-upgrade a spec is hard work and takes lots of commitment.

They improve and keep up the progress you have and it decreases lag. This most recent server update was probably to put back the "rankings" players have been kindly complaining about all day. Like I said before, it helps the lag issue. The one's I just mentioned are the minor ones. One user above me expressed the major ones/the 15 minute-2 hour ones. Those are way more useful.
