I'm not too sure about this. Surely you should be equally entitled to a negative opinion, as you are a positive opinion. The points you made above can also be made for a LIKE button, in exactly the same fashion. Opinions go both ways, after all. All this update has done, is give bias towards the positive opinion, which is contradictory to your aim of a fairer forum.

I'm in the UK, running Tanki on Chrome. For me, the FPS and ping seem to remain normal (about 60 FPS and 19 ping) - but the game is still lagging. Usually, it sets in shortly after I join a battle. If I'm lucky, the game will freeze for a short while (the classic lag, with frozen tanks and spinning turrets), and then all will continue, but quite often it freezes completely, forcing me to refresh the page. However, the problems continue. If I can re-enter the battle, the lag persists most of the time. Sometimes I can't even re-enter though. I just get an infinitely long loading page after refreshing. Good turret, but it does lose its edge at the highest ranks. MU-ing fixes this.

Tanki's lag in two pictures. ... Note my FPS and ping in the second pic - it's definitely a server-related issue.
