I would start investigating rehab exercises for your foot. It will help to heal to get blood flow to the injury. A little movement is good but don't over do it. Also you will need to stretch all your muscles because you will over compensate for your "weak" side now so be aware of that. Try to stay away from Narcotic pain relievers (Vicodin, Soma and the like) unless you just can't stand the pain.
