I got shaft M2 and I gotta say that it rocks. High damage. Kills almost every hull with 1 shot (except Viking, mammoth and titan).

It's my last M2s I'm planning to upgrade. My first M3 I am planning to do is hornet. So I need an answer on Ricochet/Viking M2 or Twins/Viking M2.

I think M2 combo would be better unless you got other M2s too. If dictator and rail are you first M2s then get this.

I mostly play with close range weapons and fast hulls. Usually attacking and rarely defending. But since it is hard to capture a flag with no drugs, alone I want a mid combo so I am upgrading Viking and I don't know what turret to upgrade with it. I am between ricochet and twins. Smoky and rail aren't really my style.

Yeah. I can not upgrade thunder since I already got M2. And no mammoth might be the worse hull since the new physics are out. It's very slow compared to any other hull. And I'm fine with my paint, rustle. My other options are smoky but it's not really my play style, freeze which I don't want since I have M2 fire and isida, railgun which I don't like either.
