If you do more than just CTF I can certainly recommend you the Viking M2! And it will be 35%.... The best parameter to micro-upgrade is ofcourse the HP. Only it 's not a spectacular raise in HP, just 237.2 in total, so only do this if you have plenty of crystals. Otherwise it is a lot better to invest in a weapons-upgrade or save the crystals for the Viking M3.

I already have the Viking M2 from the hullkit, with also already an almost fully MU 'd HP. The Hornet M2 in the kit is nice too, but can easily be obtained by normal ranking, and the only other hull that has some value for me is the Hunter M2. Not the M2 itself, but the cheaper possible upgrade to Hunter M3. At the moment I am a lot more convinced of the Viking 's capabilities, but who will tell.... Because I am still practicing with Viking M1 - Thunder M1 on another account I barely took the Viking M2 to battle. The few times I did were great! The Viking M2 is really all what ^Icerugby already wrote. The best description for me is: balanced! I promise you, you will really enjoy the extra speed...well, I certainly will in the nearby future!

It looks the best on a Hornet I think (the prettiest tank anyways...., and the more or less ugly too flat and squary Viking gets a pretty nice "looks-upgrade" with this turret. Thunder with Wasp, already not the best combo.....no, no and no!

No, but I know your style of reacting on this forum. Nothing wrong with a good reply, but it does not always need to be that sharp and/or assumptious. People are really not always on the attack against you.

I did some battles against Generalissimos, just for fun and to have a look what 's happening in those battles myself. Saw some Hunter M3 - Thunder M3 combo 's. Could be due to the players but I wasn 't impressed by their performance. The minor HP of the Hunter is a huge handicap in this map. More or less the Wasp syndrom; you know that it is fast to kill, so everybody aims at it. As far as I can tell it were Titan 's , Viking 's and an occasional Mammoth that ruled in Polygon DM at M3 level. I suppose the hull is much more suited for CTF and TDM.

Question about Splash damage: When you are really close to your opponent and you shoot him frontally. Is there or isn 't there "extra damage"? With the extra damage I mean the first normal damage done by the shockwave/ splash is on the opponents hull, than it reflects to your hull and you receive self-damage, is the shockwave at that moment at his end or does it reflect a final (weaker) time to your opponent and does it than inflict the "extra damage"? Or is it just because you are "hugging" your enemy, the shockwave/ splash can 't "escape" and your opponent gets the full blow of it, so normal damage at it 's maximum? So the question is: is it just the normal damage at it 's maximum? Or is there some "extra damage", let 's say something of 1.5 times the normal damage?

Would advice you to take another hull in the game as well (if you haven 't already done that). Keep practicing with the Dictator, but there is a good chance you will fare better with the other hull of your liking. In my case I really like the Rico. It has somewhat the same problem as the Dictator: they both finally start to really rock at M3. So in my opinion you can easily waste to much crystals and time if you mainly fight with those "M3-rockers"! :)

Well to stop "flooding" this forum with my screenshots I stop posting them for a while. A non-drugging D/L of 3 in Polygon will do for now..... :D But if something really different or extraordinary happens, like a D/L of 4 in Polygon DM, I will certainly post the screenshot. Really hope to make that next personal milestone sometimes! :) Do not "worry": my words WILL keep "Splashing" all over the place.... ;) .......ooh, no....... :lol:

Well in one word: superb! Very nice written guide: heaps of well informed info, right amount of humour, well constructed etc. Just some feedback, to maybe improve it even further: It would be nice to have a little chapter regarding paints. Some info about Cedar and other "Thunder" paints could be very usefull. For example: I see a lot of Thunders driving around in a Polygon DM without a "Thunder paint". This isn 't always wrong: some can 't afford it, there could be lots of Railers so Tundra paint or something similar might be better to use etc. But in many cases a Thunder-paint makes the difference! Also I have a view on the Splash-damage that I think and hope might help Thunder-users to get a better understanding how the Splash damage works. Back to normal....playing against same and lower ranks. Went amazing: as I already mentioned you get "sharp" from fighting against the Big Boys! An D/L of 3 in Polygon DM, as always without drugs....my best battle till now! Splashing all over the place!!! :D

It always helps ofcourse, but also with Smoky: in my opinion the plain damage is the most important MU. I have this question of it will be able on my mind too. So more opinions are most welcome!!! I am now totally hooked on the Thunder which pawns in Polygon DM, but I also have a main-account with a MU 'd Smoky M1. Good in DM but the Thunder (Splash!) is better. With the Smoky I am planning to do some CTF and Team DM. Suits it better. I stopped playing CTF almost completely thanks to the many times I lost against druggers, but I am going to try it again over some weeks. (can 't wait till I can do Pro-battles!) I will fight with Viking/Hornet, Smoky and Tundra.

Neither one for the Titan. Wait till WO4 and buy the Thunder M1. Suits the Titan like a glove!
