This is so pessimistic, yes the ecological system is getting messed up, but at the same time we are also getting better at understanding the world and developing technology that will enable us to solve more and more problems, including climate change. There are many great things coming that will help humans overcome a lot of great problems that we face today, and it's extending much beyond solving climate change. An example of a day that will come pretty soon: The day most people will get up and walk away from their wheel chair - this is made possible by robotic limbs that are controlled by the brain just like an original part of the body, over a thousand people already use this technology and in the next decade it is expected to be improved and distributed on an industrial scale. At some point losing your legs and arms will no longer mean that your life is irreversibly ruined. Something that will come much later: The day no one will die - this will happen probably not in our lifetime, but it will be possible thanks to improvement in medical technology, improvement of the economy in less developed countries to eliminate hunger and poverty, improvement of safety to prevent fatal accidents (such as autonomous vehicles that will be much better at preventing accidents than humans are), and many more projects that get humanity closer to this day. Also about humanity going extinct because of climate change and ecological damage: we are already close to starting the colonization of Mars, once that's done even if Earth will somehow be destroyed a part of humanity will live on. And once we start colonizing space we won't stop at Mars, humanity will spread until no local disaster will be able to wipe humans out.

Looking at the topic title - "Reality Check" - and thinking this sounds like someone isn't sure if this is real life or a simulation

Sounds like I'm gonna have children in tanki

Different programming languages have different uses, some are used for web development (creating websites like this forum), others are used to create computer programs (like your web browser, photoshop, etc), and there are lots of different properties that people consider when choosing the programming languages for their projects. For a beginner I would recommend learning a bit of C# to learn some important concepts (or javascript if you are only interested in web development), or you can read about other popular programming languages, the differences between them and what they are good for, so you can choose on your own what you want to start learning.
-
btw tip for everyone here who wants to learn a programming language: (not including stuff like HTML and CSS, I'm talking about the languages where you can define variables and write functional code rather than just defining what things look like) Knowing the language is one thing, knowing how to use it well is more than knowing the syntax and documentation. For example if you want to write a program that can be good at playing draughts or something, it will be useful to learn about binary trees and recursion. Learning some concepts and algorithms is extremely important to be able to do more advanced things. Remember, you can pretty much always find explanations and examples online, and once you learn to do more advanced stuff I think you'll like it more, good luck! ^_^

you guys should stop here, this turned into just insulting/provoking each other which can end with a ban

Video guides are the best way to teach players, you only explain it once and then everyone can watch it any time, and you can upload the same video with RU and EN commentary so you don't need a whole new team to add another language. Teaching method Parkour school Video guides How many will learn from it less than 100 thousands When can they learn when there is a teacher around any time they want How much can they learn at once one lesson at a time, until the teacher goes away as much as they want, can even watch the whole playlist in one day Video guides are clearly much better, so I would invest more effort in making these videos and wouldn't wait for an EN team to be ready because you only need an EN commentator for this. So I wish you good luck with making video guides, this is what players in tanki need the most, having a school for just a few players is nice but it's just a small bonus ^_^

I guess you learned from this situation that you shouldn't make promises that you can't keep, even if this promise is what people want to hear. I'd wish you good luck with building a new team but I still don't understand why it's so important to you, for your youtube channel it doesn't change anything except some of the videos have "AoP EN" in their title, but the language doesn't really matter because it's just parkour and music. Why would you keep these goals secret?

Guard, here is a list of your biggest mistakes: You wanted all official clubs to merge with AoP, this makes your intentions clear already. You recruited an EN team by promising a paint, which attracted more paint diggers than people whose main interest is to teach parkour. You kicked them (which was not a mistake) and recruited another EN team instead with a very similar arrangement, saying you don't want paint diggers and yet offering them a paint (which was a mistake) You kicked the second team too and started recruiting a third team, this time you don't promise a paint but it's already too late for that after you showed that everyone in the AoP EN team ends up just serving you for nothing (they are not even a real part of the club, they don't get to do parkour with the real AoP team, they are a separate club that just serves you) and then getting kicked. My advice: stay in the RU community and stop making bad reputation by trying to expand into other communities. This is parkour, not business.

New video [AoP] Academy of Parkour - Montage: Berlin

A few people leaving won't kill the whole community, you don't really need us here to be able to do parkour. And as long as people still like doing parkour, not much is gonna change

There's another question I can answer for you: Q: where is the best place to find answers/solutions to questions? A: google Search in google "lucid dreams" :P

1. Take a photo 2. See your reflection in the water 3. Ask an artist to paint your back 4. Lay down in the sand and then get up and see the shape of your body in the sand 5. Freeze yourself so people will unfreeze you after some 1000 years in the future when technology will enable you to grow an eye on the palm of your hand 6. Find a Genie and ask it to fulfil your great wish of seeing your back without a mirror 7. Build a time machine and go back in time so you can see yourself a few minutes ago and look at your back 8. Hax

I wanna have the ability to live forever, that way death won't be forced on me so I can kill myself if/when I decide I don't wanna live anymore. That's much better than planning ahead of time when it might be a good time to die. I'm tempted to use my mod powers to prove you wrong
