The developers are constantly working to fix lag issues, and it's more expensive than you think to simply "buy new servers". Respect their time... would you rather have them stop everything just for lag issues? No discounts, no updates, no rebalances, no new mods, no contests... That's the only way to fix it quickly, I believe.
