When does everyone think the next sale will be, besides Christmas? I want to know because I am now heading for buying Viking m2, or possibly Titan m2 (don't think so, but it may be an option). I won't earn 72k xp before Christmas; also considering that I probably won't be playing as much from now to then. Thanks.

Okay, thanks. I would be able to get Mammoth m2, but I don't really want to go full out heavy. The Thunder issue is a worry, but since I am probably buying Thunder I will get Cedar too (38% against Thunder). Viking m2 should be fine against other Thunders. I like Viking because it doesn't completely kill off the speed, yet seems to do okay in battles against heavy hulls. My only issue is the sale (SMP HAS DISAPPEARED!).

Okay, thanks. I think I will go for Thunder; I don't need two turrets that do a similar job. Okay, sounds sweet; Hunter may be out of the picture now. The downside to buying Viking m2 is that I need to rank up for it (one rank, plus 7k xp). I won't be able to do that before the sales. When would the next sale possibly be, besides Christmas? Also, would Viking m2 last into m3 ranks, and be competent against Viking m3s (and other m3s) that will start appearing? If so, I could wait for a better hull than Viking m3, and use the m2 till I buy something else. Thanks for your help.

Beforenote: Before, I thought it took 3 shots for an m2 Thunder to kill a Hornet. This is only the case if they slightly miss, I think. Now, I have been looking at things differently... Will Firebird m2 last me until M3 ranks? I think it can; I just want confirmation. Hammer vs Thunder; Thunder has range, but Hammer more damage overall (including reloads, etc.). If Firebird will do the job that Hammer can do, then I do not really need it. Even if Thunder isn't the best when compared with other weapons, it still has range, unlike Hammer (and Firebird). Therefore, Thunder would be the better choice; it can cover the medium-longer ranges, and Firebird the shorter to medium. That would be better than two short-range turrets that are both used on similar maps. I want another turret because I want a change from "chase the enemy, try to get to them, and circle and burn". Firebird is probably my favourite turret, but I do want variety. Lastly, there is the question of "should I buy Hunter m2, nothing, or wait for a later m2 (Viking or maybe Titan)". If I get nothing, then I will be saving for m3s. I am leaning towards Hunter, but I'm still not sure. As people probably know, my only m2 hull is Hornet. If you read the stuff in the spoiler, you will see that Hunter only saves me about one extra shot from a Thunder (compared to Hornet). However, there are other turrets which will be easier to challenge with the extra heath. Thanks to anyone who responds :). I have mentioned these things before, but now I am more certain about what I want. By the way, I have over 133k, and will have more by Christmas. Thanks!
