mk7 is basically an M3, a fully upgraded mk7 would be an M4. So in those screenshots you see a fully upgraded mk7 player (call him mk8 if you wish) in the same map as players with mk2 and mk3 equipment (which means M1 equipment). yea a bit confusing at first I know, but hope you imagine just how bad that really is ?

Believe it or not guys, I've seen many more of these players out there in low ranks (not this bad though), but I obviously can't screenshot all of them. This guy easily rivals my main account and is being put against some players with triple digit gear scores... insane.

And he wasn't exactly very friendly, while he wouldn't recklessly kill everyone in sight, he didn't hesitate to destroy anyone who accidentally got in his way, with one freaking shot. He also mined sometimes. Also, Madness is probably the worst map to have been chosen for an event in the history of events, and the no-gravity option ... really?! Like icing on the cake. Agreed. Hornet definitely needs a nerf.

Players abused the high damage with Hornet's overdrive and drones. They easily destroyed any hull I used, and in less than 2 seconds. Insane Firebird is quite strong but I'm still not convinced it requires any drastic nerfs at this point.

Being able to rent alterations, I'm tired of spending 50k -70k on a supposedly cool alt. only for it to turn out to be quite underwhelming and not suitable for my own playing style.

The pay2win aspect surely declined during the past two years, as a non-buyer (or very light buyer) I'm personally doing a lot better than a year ago. Many turrets and alterations have been balanced and a greater amount of rewards are given to casual players through challenges and stuff. But I agree it's fairly boring nonetheless.
