Yeah, I am :lol: Hornet was appealing, but I'm going to stick with Wasp. Might even get Railgun while I'm at it. M2 Wasp and M2 Railgun look good together. :D

Since I use Wasp/Isida primarily, controlling my Wasp isn't an issue. I used M4 Wasp/M4 Isida on the test server a while back, and I must say: it was a pretty awesome combination for attacking. The problem is, with the new update, you have little margin for error with wasp. It is really easy to flip, and you can't dodge every shot. Oh well, I'll just need to get better at dodging then. It's decided. M2 Isida wins the battle. The question is, which hull do I get to compliment it. I'm getting M2 Hornet, but in the future, with M3's and M4's, which tank compliments Isida the best? @hogree says Hunter/Isida is the best combination at M3/M4 with Isida. (Yes, I read his guide) @GoldRock says Wasp/Isida is the best combination at M3/M4 with Isida (I looked at his What to mount on Wasp guide) Generally, Hornet/Isida is the best combination at M3/M4 with Isida according to a lot of high ranked players. What do some other people suggest?

M3 Wasp flips a lot. If you are comfortable using it, get it! :) Never pass up on a tank you love. I would say if you get M3 Wasp, Savannah is a better fit for it, not Prodigi. If you don't get M3 Wasp, stick with getting those 2 paints and get M3 Hunter later on when you rank. Prodigi really doesn't help M3 Wasp at all really.

I looked at M4 Isida's stats, and I must say: Wow! M4 Hornet + M4 Isida will be a awesome combination. Looking at M4 Freeze's stats, that rotation speed is fast. Maybe even too fast. M4 Isida's DPS: 64 M4 Freeze's DPS: 68 M4 Freeze's reloading time: 11 seconds M4 Isida's reloading time: 10 seconds M4 Freeze's RS: 195.6 M4 Isida's RS: 134.6 M4 Isida's HPS: 66 I think M4 Isida wins that one out by a lot. The questions is though: It seems Isida is probably better off on Wasp, not Hornet. That 50% self-healing rate at M4 is a lot. Probably benefits M4 Wasp more than M4 Hornet. Wasp flips a lot more though, especially with the new auto-aim update, so it could be rendered useless. I must say, right now M2 Isida is beating M2 Freeze, considering those awesome stats at M4. The problem: We all know Isida is an attack based turret, but it can only kill one person at a time. This is where Freeze comes on top: it can damage multiple defenders, whereas Isida can only damage 1 defender at a time. Isida's DPS almost mirrors Freeze and is not even that far away from matching Firebird. So that might not be much of a problem. So far, Isida is beating Freeze. It is also nice to know Hornet is a good flag-carrying hull, so I can mainly attack with that combo.

It did :). I'll test them out again and again when attacking. I'm going to take note of paints people use more (more Freeze or Isida protection paints). I have a feeling right now I'm leaning towards M2 Freeze, but you never know. Thanks...

Save up for M3 Viking. You already know how good M2 Viking is. M3 Viking is an even better version. :)

After looking through the stats, I still can't decide between M2 Freeze or M2 Isida. I know that both of these weapons, when combined with M2 Hornet, make effective attacking and flag capturing combinations. Basic Statistics Of Each Weapon: Damage Per Second (DPS): M2 Freeze's DPS: 42.1 M2 Isida's DPS: 40.4 Reloading Time (RT): M2 Freeze's RT: 12.1 seconds M2 Isida's RT: 11.1 seconds Rotation Speed (RS): M2 Freeze's RS: 132.5 M2 Isida's RS: 100.4 I feel that M2 Freeze's freezing ability really compliments M2 Hornet's drifting ability. Obviously, it can't heal anyone. But accounting for kills might be easier, as I know how to circle and dodge very well. That might be useful for capturing flags. It also has great rotation speed, so containing people and circling will be very easy. Its reload time might let me down, and it has a fairly low DPS. Besides that, I feel that it really complements my gameplay. But, I feel the rarity of this weapon is because it just isn't good. M2 Isida gains XP faster, and in turn, gets more crystals (since crystal boxes were removed). Also, it's DPS almost mirrors M2 Freeze's DPS and has a faster reloading time by exactly 1 second. And, even better, it can heal people, which helps your team win and keeps other players alive. That sounds awesome in my mind. Since I'm a flag capturer though, I'm not sure it has much to offer to M2 Hornet as M2 Freeze does. And, on top of that, many more people use M2 Isida over M2 Freeze, so that means more people use Isida protection paints. Can M2 Isida overcome that? I'm not sure. I feel that Isida might be more of all-around attack weapon, not solely a flag capturing weapon, like M2 Freeze. Isida does get you a lot of extra XP, and that is certainly very, very useful. But I'm not sure that is totally necessary for me. Another Point: Almost no one uses Freeze protection paints (even at Coloneal!). Many more people (though still a fairly small amount) use Isida protection paints. I'm glad everyone uses Railgun or Thunder protection paints at this rank. :lol: Luckily, even though I don't buy crystals, price isn't an issue with either of these turrets. So, the basic question is this: M2 Freeze or M2 Isida? Remember, I am solely an attacker and flag capturer. I am buying M2 Hornet once I reach 2nd Lieutenant. Any reply appreciated! Thanks! :)

I'd say M2 Viking + Emerald. You can protect your tank from splash damage, and you are only a rank away from getting M3 Viking. M3 Viking + M3 Thunder + Emerald really makes an awesome tank. The other alternative is to get M3 Hornet and use M3 Isida to rank up more quickly.

I would agree. M2 Smoky beats M2 Ricochet in almost every stat basically, if you think about it. M2 Smoky should be what you buy.

Isida is overall a more versatile turret to use. The healing XP is an added bonus. Isida M2 is also much more fun to use than M2 Freeze.
