as soon as your rank is hogh enough for M1 (one!) your M0 will be replaced by an M1 without microupgrades. From this point in time on you have an M1.. and all the other explained stuff applies. refund: I wonder how many of the people who claim a refund would go to a supermarket during a sales, and claim that the chicken they purchased yesterday is today cheeper.. and they want a refund. Especially as the chicken is "used", because in the meanwhile you played with your weapons.. and had fun with it. Or if you purchase a car.. then it gets cheaper 2 weeks later, and you claim for an refund at the store. Don't get me wrong.. keep asking - maybe you are lucky. But simply don't be mad if it does not work out. A deal is a deal.. (I have also purchased an M2 Rico during a 50% sale which I never use. I purchased it cause the price was good and I know I wanted to go M3 rico one day. Wasted now. Also I went from Isi M1 to M3 during the last 50% sales.. Waste. Same goes for my Hunter (M1..M3 for 50%). Waste. But hey, I used it in the meanwhile, I had fun with it. And they stated in in the vlog on Friday on tankman sales. So at least I stayed away from fire M2 for this info that they give in time.

To keep you in need to spend crystals on the normal equipment, instead of hoping for Xt and skip your way through it all Because you would be overpowered if you get them too early and to have an additional motivation for Gizmos that already have so much equipment.
-
seems you got the announcement wrong. They told the discount will effect only equipment in the same M-class. So you need 3 M2 turrets to release the 10% discount for purchasing the remaining Mx turrets into M2 level. Or you will need 3 M3 turrets to release the 10% discount for purchasing the ramining Mx turrets into M3 level. Same goes for hulls.. if you own 2x M2 hulls then you will release the 10% discount for purchasing the remaining hulls into M2 state. but anyways.. if you continue to get the whole garage to the same m-level (all turrets M2, all hulls M2) you will soon notice that others that focus on just 2..3 turrets and 2 hulls will have the better equipment earlier and will be more skilled with it. Later at very high ranks they purchase the remaining M3 stuff during some sales without ever spending crystals on M1 and m2. While your strategy of maximum diversity just leads you to be financially broken. Think about it & good luck on the battlefield

Does anyone know when Mosquito was available last time, and what the average rotation time is? I'd like to get it for my alt. Thanks in advance :) ps: and it would be cool if you could add the rank logos / names to the startpost (like )

rumors say the chances for each of the XT missions are 1/10.000. So don't bet all your crystals on it
-
They announced it in time in the vlog. So.. it's not them to blame ;)

you can whaaat? Just to make sure I got it right: If I hide a wasp 100% behind a wall, turning my railturret "through" the wall so it sticks out (not beside the wall, but right through it). You as a shaft can only see my rail pointing through the wall. Can you shot the tip of my rail turret and so kill me???
-
This is soooo true..
-
It does not brake so good and if they go a little backwards their necessary turret angle change due to my position change gets minor :/

I heared they introduced additional daily missions that give less of a challange / are less time consuming. This to "help" players that can not spend more time per day in the game. Unfortunately this effects all other players as well, as this small missions reduce the average income per mission. What a coincidence. Would be really cool if we could decide if we like to change to a long or short mission each time we hit the change button.. edit: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=284330

-40% -> -50% on sales effects the game economy. Wholesale discounts and the option to skip M0, M1 and M2.. do not. I see :) But honestly, it is very positive that: - you change the expensive economy of the game - that you simply started to talk about unity instead of spreading rumors. - that you tell about changes like the wholesale and new skip-to-M3 possibilities in advance - really before the sales is in full swing. thanks for your work, rohr

actually a BP combo has worse acceleration then a XP combo. The wasp has a fester terminal velocity.. but it has worse acceleration. Therefor forward-backward dodging works soo great with XP, and is pretty poor with BP. BP has to dodge by other means. ps: If you are a pro BP dodger then please teach me, I really like to learn (honestly, as I love BP)

In the 2 posts from Seymon I quoted/referred to, he wrote like that the players could have expected the sales to become lower and less frequently. And that the players do not understand and so on.. Therefor I reminded him about the age group he is talking to (majority), as he expects them to think like grown ups. i have the quotes from him here again if you wanne read in: Especially as the most here are pretty young, he cant expect them to handle this situation with the skilled anticipation of grownups. And especially as tanki makes a living up on those young people, they (Tanki) should spend some effort to anticipate how the players might react and what to do about it _in_advance_. I once wrote here "I spend my money where my fun is". Kids are much more into that thought. I have never seen young kids purchasing brocoli or Spinach to invest in their health. But a lot of them purchases icecream and sweets. So.. there is no need to argue with unhappy kids afterwards and blame them fomr somthing that Tanki has made those kids used to. But there can't be much expectations on earnings an income through unhappy kids as well. There is more a point of handling those young people right from the start. And this is what I proposed. You wrote, there is no point in arguing what might have been. Right on that, and I dont tend to blame someone. I just point out how it could be done better the next time. BEcause in the meanwhile I have the feeling, that Tanki gets professional in making its own customer base unhappy (not by what they do, but by how they do it).
-
Maybe Tanki should consider to inform it's players (customers) some time in advance about such decisions. Especially if you consider the age group of msot of your players. You could just make a statement, that from now on the big sales are 35% and the small ones 20%.. (or whatever you feel is apropriate). If then a sales comes close and you see that you could give away more.. do so. If you want to give a sales in between on an extraordinary occasion, you have the potential to do so. But the way you act now is busting expectations. Imagin a kid has birthday and you bring only half a birthday cake. Then you tell him _afterwards_ "Because it effects the econnomy". It would be no issue to bring a smaller cake if you tell some days in advance.. to adjust the expectations. But as Tanki acts at the moment, it must feel real bad to lots of those kids that invest much time here and dream of M3s.. kind regards, rohr'

Kirby, I totally agree on your view on pricing, buyer favorisation and the resulting pressure that is build up. I like to enjoy this game.. like to play the maps that fit my battlestyle and spend time with my friends here in funny battles <-> instead of feeling forced to play polygon capture point half day long to build up a decent garage -.- I fully understand that tanki is a business and that they have to earn money. But in the end I as a person attend here to have fun. And feeling constant pressure is canceling the fun out. Then it starts to feel more like an obligation, instead of an activity I like to use my precious spare time on. Good Luck in your future life ;)

If they would have spread the rumor that this sale wuold be only 25% and then come out with 40%... everybody would be celebrating now. It is a game about anticipating and shaping players expectations... or leaving them on their own rumors and bust their dreams short before the sale.

in many XP/BP battles I join, I see more wasps then Hornets.

Objectional Campaign Against DEVs have reduced the Daily missions' crystals
Rohrmeister replied to SulfuricAcid in Archive
well, exactly this reduces the amount of "earnings" a tanker can make per day. -
Yes, you can use it to calc models that help you about decisions for the real life (outside the classroom) :) I assume your calc is correct in case you - are not spotted by the firebird before you start shooting - you start shooting at 5m distance as this is the range of max damage Only thing is that this "5m distance" thing is pretty hard to archieve, if the firebird is neither blind nor totally busy with 2 other opponents at the time beeing... And 5m is pretty boring as it leaves you no agility on the battlefield (agile freeze play was so much fun End of 2014..) Still I experienced that the freeze was made a little more effective in terms of freezeing. The last rebalance stated a freezing speed of the hull of 0,7 (70%). Yesterday I read in the russian wiki that it is 60% now (0,6). I looked it up because I felt my wasp was more slowed down then it used to be the last months. a mayor advantage of the firebird is that it can inflict burning damage without coming close. The temp increase and burning damage seem to have no correlation to the distance. I notice that when I fight firebirds with my isida. I outrange them as my damage does not reduce with range.. theirs does. So while they can hardly do serious damage to me as I keep my range.. I can kill them. and then afterburn kicks in and I still die -.- Although I was so far away. It is just the time that matters there. this afterburn is a very dangerous thing that makes fore so effective. (but playing fire is boring to me.. wont get it..)

Stand Alone Flash: using received Battle Links?
Rohrmeister replied to Rohrmeister in Stand Alone Flash: using received Battle Links? Archive
Hi all, Does anyone know a workaround to use received battle links in the stand alone flash player? example: Clanleader share a clan training battle link via skype group. Members that use stand alone flashplayer want to join there.. but can't make use of the link. Is there any workaround known? (except taking the link, post it in tanki chat, and click it then by themselfes) thanks in advance ! Rohr' -
Try the latest standalone flashplayer, it is v18 (you use v15.. very old). You can download it directly from adobe.com (the company that made it): https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html cya, Rohr
