I'm reporting all of them to THE NS, it is her fault after all. And yes, I'm going to do my best to resurrect old paper memes. Remult, anyone? Now if you said that to me yesterday, I would've been sad, cause it was my barthdiy, but now it isn't, so I'm even more hurt now.

1.) Yes 2.) Very much so, older ones always take priority. 3.) You have no idea how hard it is to correct the needy articles. At least for me, I never liked denying an article. Obviously, at times it needed to be done, but there would be articles that would have a lot of potential or a lot of really good ideas that had some failures in execution, formatting, and especially grammar. Those articles would take up a lot of time to edit and make sure that they were up to scratch, but did not start to sound like me, or whatever reporter was editing it. PS: I'm not dead

  9. Aprooved: that part should have been far more impactful than it felt Edets: Big surprise: I only slightly changed some grammar here and there and maybe a couple things of word choice. One thing to keep working is building tension and then capitalizing on it. For example, when you wrote "Some of those he had killed were innocent."that part should have been far more impactful than it felt, you built up the reveal really well, but the payoff wasn't quite where it could have been. Perhaps something along the lines of "Slowly, a realization came to him, some of the people he killed where innocent, many of them were innocent, his friend James was innocent". I just came up with that on the fly, but I think it kept your brilliant tension going until the big reveal. Other than that, great job my friend, I get to nitpick on small things with you now. PS, all reporters write text-walls :D

Honestly, it depends. Guides don't actually have as many tweaks (personally) as those are more informational, and once you get your basis to run off, it is pretty easy to complete. Stories take a much longer time, as they require different details and descriptions, and that is something I'm not as comfortable with writing. So for the crappy answer, it really depends. A word of warning though: don't spend too much time, else you will over tweak it, if you will, making it worse than it was. In my opinion, a good writer isn't determined by where and how they begin, but when they know to stop. I know that didn't completely answer your question, but I hope it helped.

What I do is play around with an idea for a little while. I like to formulate what I want to do in my head and then try to write. Eventually, you'll get an idea of where you want to go, and the moment that happens, get it down immediately. Basically, my process boils down to rewriting, editing, rewriting, flash of inspiration, rewriting. I was a reporter though, so that says something (hopefully).

I would like to see some of the old, big maps come back, as I never get to play them any more. Is it possible to have MM work with maps that hold numbers other than 10? That would make the game more fun IMO. I would also like to have the old feature back where our in-game score is the same as the EXP yield, as now it takes even longer to rank up, getting 10 points for everything.

You will be notified if your articles are not published, it will take a little while as the AWC helpers need to read through and proofread.
  18. Le legend of le Brys. Fair warning though, working on home computer until early July, and I don't want to mix up personal discords and skype into the home computer, as parents are not the most adept at figuring out whose account is actually being used. Also, why NS, why don't you keep in contact with me? ~I have constantly been on discord this year, constantly~

    [Issue 76]

I'm not sure you understand how hard it is to just make articles. They require time to think up of ideas they think will be enjoyed by people for next issue, it needs to run through a clearing phase, then it needs to be researched, drafted, edited by them, edited by them again, edited by reporters, put pictures in, and make finishing touches before it goes out. As Flex said we (I used to be a reporter) are volunteers, and do this because we enjoy it, but we have other things to do. It is hard to put out multiple articles a month, especially with the smaller staff on hand. Side note: I have no idea what you said in the last sentence, so I did not respond to that.

I believe that you did, but the intention of the post was to start a flame war, which is why he hid it. Guido, I'm going to ask if we can both agree to end this debate, as no one is getting anything productive out of this. We have been arguing about what we have been arguing about for the last page or so, and there is no point in continuing it, so let's put an end to this and enjoy the parts of the paper we enjoy, and be fine that there are parts we don't like as much.

I was a Reporter ;), did you ever check the archives? Anyways, I get your point, and I did rush to a conclusion on your potential bias, so sorry about that. In case you were wondering about my biases, I wrote mostly guides, reviews, and opinion pieces, which is why I was defending them so much against Quido, as I wrote them and know the amount of work that goes into them.

Statistics can mean what ever you want them to mean. What would have been more productive was establishing the different people to calculate the net-likes, otherwise these statistics can mean whatever you want. I could view these articles as getting the second highest mount of gross likes, and therefore they should stay. Also, there is a difference between less liked and unpopular; according to this data, a fifth of the likes that the newspaper received would not be there. It would also be safe to assume that there would be a number of people who would be unhappy if these guides went away, and I know for a fact that there are some people, myself included, that enjoy reading reviews and guides the most, as they are the most practical to the game that is directly related to this newspaper. Guides have been a part of TO Newspaper history for 6 years, and a few dissenting opinions will probably not stop them from being written.
