This isn't a contest that requires an incredible grammar skills or exquisite writing style. It's more about reminiscing one's journey through this year. Naturally, all troll-ish or incomprehensive entries won't be considered.

If they weren't delivered yet, they will very likely be delivered today in the late hours.

First reason is that this is a contest, and the fact that not everyone gets a prize is totally natural in competitions. If everyone got a prize, it would be giveaway, not a contest. If you are asking why you and some others did not get prize, well then I can tell you that copying an online story and pasting it in the forum topic is an old trick that we do not award with any crystals. I specifically mentioned that plagiarism will not be tolerated, yet I found at least 3 or 4 entries that where straightforward copypasted from the net. As for the scavenger hunt, that is more of a question on the contest host, Hexed, if I am not mistaken. It is possible that his entry was not complete or did not meet the requirements and thus the fact that he submitted it first did not play any role.

We want to make some changes to the Newspaper, to the way things work, set the new direction for the reporters and the Newspaper itself, consolidate the processes and team and maybe even try new things. So we will take a little pause to make that happen.

The contest has been prolonged by one more month due to low number of entries.

Approved. Edits: - Lot of proper nouns needed to be capitalized. Railgun, Flow, Hornet, etc. are all names of equipment, thus they should start with capital letter. - I further segmented the text into the paragraphs.

Try to avoid using the same words or phrases multiple times in one sentence. - There were some shifts in the tenses. One sentence started depicting the story in present tense but then a past tense appeared in the following one. Other than that, it was nice compact story.

Approved. Edits: - capitalize Tanki, it's a proper noun. - do not put space between the word and a colon/semicolon, e.g. "he said:" - avoid starting sentences with a number. Usually, it's best to reformat the sentence or use the full written form. There was also this strange last sentence in the first paragraph that I decided to completely leave out. That was a bit random. What guy? I felt that some sort of introduction was missing to it. For example: "I heard from my new neighbor that there's some hostile wondering guy in this area, and so I decided to buy a knife. (I would very likely put a different weapon here, though.)

Edits: "Baguettes slices" in this case apostrophe was needed to determine the possession. In singular, you can use -'s, in plural -s' or you can use "of", in that case, it would be formatted "slices of baguette". - few commas added here and there. Usually, you should use comma after words like however, moreover, furthermore, especially if they stand at the beginning of the sentence. - few grammar fixes, mostly related to putting "s" in verbs that were not related to third person singular.

There are only 32 teams competing there, so you had to find some really, really, really rare containers :)
