Vulcan-Mammoth must be pure boring. I use Vulcan and Viking and its a pretty Versatile combo.

Vulcans aren't immortal. They can be easily killed with Rico, Hammer, Isida or freeze.

Hammer is better. With Thunder you'll damage yourself a lot so go with hammer.

May be you just stole someone's kill or the mammoth was not on full health.

Its pretty popular but most Gisimos have Rock or any other Twins protective paint which makes it less effective than what it truly is. At least that's what I have observed.

Its sometimes useful in DMs for kill stealing but in all other cases I would rather use my Vulcan.

Ricochet is better. But its kinda hard to learn which is what I feel.

Viking Definitely. Its pretty stable when shooting and has ample health to endure self damage. Moreover Viking M2 is one of the best M2 hulls if not the best.

You can shoot for 7.2 s(6.38+0.831) before overheating if i'm right.

Huntsman is better. You can have M3 hornet with it and Smoky M2 is pretty OP.
