Any particular reason? Format battles look fun, but XP just isn't as effective in normal battles as other combos. Normal battles are my main concern. Will Isida M2 last me all the way to captain?

I usually don't kill unless it would increase my chances. You attacked me? You are dead. You and me are the only tankers nearby and you aren't on my team? You are dead if I think I can kill you. You are the only dictator among a crowd of Hornets? You are my first target.

I 100% agree with this. Smoky is my favorite gun, but I'm not getting it until M2. At M2, it is an unholy terror.

Should I 1) Get nothing until captain, then buy Atlas, then buy Hornet M3 OR 2) Buy Railgun M2 at first lieutenant, then buy Huntsman I love Hornet, but enjoy Titan too. I like Smoky more than my profile indicates, it is my favorite weapon. It just isn't that good at M0, and is short-lived at M1. I prefer Ricochet to Railgun, but I'm slightly more fond of my Railgun than my Isida. I have about 30k right now, and I can probably get 150k by captain.

I'm not impressed. The MU sale is nice, but rather useless for low ranks. The contest is stupid. I'm sorry, it just is. I don't want either of the 5000 crystal paints, because I don't like the looks. Sorry folks, this event doesn't excite me. Except for the gold boxes. 3000 gold boxes are great. Judging by Valentine's day, I won't get any, though. -_-
