Glad to hear you liked them, you really got me paying attention to that "hairball" noise, I am pretty sure it's a default trashcan sound in some platform, it has always sounded distantly familiar to me. It's not exactly easy listening. I had actually gotten into some of that stuff before out of pure interest, but I just find it way too leftfield to listen to in any situation where I'm not just there for the song. Get's me feeling like I'm engaging in some primal act of purification when I'm washing dishes or look for the nearest rabbit to hunt when I'm just on a walk. I do find it enjoyable in that same way I find things like heavy metal or gangsta rap enjoyable. Just kind of have to go with the flow and forget who you are for a minute. I can imagine hiking in the middle of some Mongolian plains and stopping for a night of sleep in some local yourt. When the evening comes they offer you hot soup, freshly hunted rabbits (probably from my last walk) and warm blankets. I lay back with a full stomach, exhausted by the miles of the day fade into a trance... as the locals sing by the fireplace. Well that all is for the first song. I can see what the Hu are doing with adding some not so traditional elements to make it more listenable in a normal context, but I do think that the traditional approach is what makes the singing actually work in full effect.

Tell me about it. One of my favorite vocal samples ever is the intro humming she does on the Halcyon album. It is the main element in "pound cake", top1 hip-hop beat in my humble opinion. Really like the song you posted as well, although it is guilty by association for working with a criminally bad movie. I literally discovered that a day before this post :o Couldn't post anything else as my main song thingy after getting back into her music. It's an Ellie post now.

Since you asked for them. It did feel like an annoying child who just hit puberty trying to play me her favorite song, but being unable to decide between the 2. I mean I did have a proper laugh at it, but I can't say I'll willingly listen to anything Poppy again, espesially if it involves her trying metal :P Anyways, I thought I'd for a change share some thoughts ByeByeBye style, instead of the usual. Ok so starting off with Rone. I think Fugu Kiss is the best song to summarize why I find him an enjoyable listen. An interesting structure, like a constantly evolving wave of electronic elements and an overall unique production style. I would also highly recommend the music videos to his more popular songs, some really innovative and high-quality stuff. My favorites are "Gravity" and "Acid Reflux".

We listened to the same song, right? I mean that was hardly profane, a cute rap about childhood nostalgia, Not blaming you for doing your duties or anything, but seeing such a harsh policy enforced here left me feeling some kind of way. Especially since there is so much good music I now know I'll have to refrain from posting.

My favorite Chance 4 single so far + this new deluxe edition of the Odesza album is pretty impressive too.

Man, you really overwhelm me with the enthusiasm here. You weren't lying when you hypothized on us having a similar music taste in a previous post. Twigs was a fairly recent discovery for me too, When i first heard her, I thought it was like a new flume track or something. really great to hear an artist like her going strong solo with such an experimental style. Ps. On catching up with Imogen I'd recommend checking out a live performance (in the spoiler) I think she has an amazing stage presence. She is 1 of the artists whom I'd immidiately think of if I was asked favourites, simply because of the genuineness, with which she seems to enjoy being and expressing herself.

As someone who has a huge weak spot for bells and low bass that was really an amazing experience. And for some reason I really like the simplistic visualizer. One of the best tracks I've heard in a while. And the second one was pretty good too. Thanks for these discoveries. I feel you, on that extratone/speedcore stuff. I just can't see how people enjoy it... but then again I like chopped and screwed and other types of slowed down stuff. Music tastes are weard like that. Some pop and r&b stuff I've been listening to.

Hey, that is actually not bad. I had previously only heard of K.Flay on those popular NCS tracks and never really thought her solo work would be any more interesting, definitely a positive surprise. And oh, Glad you like Björk too. I think she has a really unique gift for making music that is at the same time challenging and captivating.

Well since Gymmopedie no.1 is 1/5 of the pieces in the vid and the rest are Gnossienne's I think the video creator took some liberties with the name... although I'm not sure since I haven't really researched Satie outside of just listening. I like the 2nd and 3rd Gymnopedie too good suggestions. The band version wasn't bad, but the vocalist sure was a bit of a relic. Still I do admire the innovativeness. Also what is this listening to few seconds of a song business you suggest? And apologizing for posting too much? Come on, I think we all like your posts. I've been listening to Rising Appalachia ever since that post and you just made me remember Stromae exists. You don't have to act like you are somehow burdening us.

Mumble-rap/trap lyrics are mostly irrelevant filler. For me some mumble-rap evokes a carefree and an energized feel. And even if I don't like the drug culture I do enjoy the intoxicating vibe that artists like Travis Scott and Future can create. Also it's a fact that the human brain likes catchy repetition and simple patterns of melody. Not to mention some mumble-rap/trap is just downright hilariously goofy when you hear it for the first time. Mumble rap/trap is like the southern dance rap of the 2000s or the playa anthems of the 90s, there is always gonna be that simplistic and mainstream part of rap. Besides, there is still ALOT of technically and lyrically good young rappers, TDE, the Beast Coast movement, guys like Big Krit, Jid, Chance, Brockhampton, Tyler, Gambino, Logic, Denzel and countless others. These are the guys you ought to be looking at in the new-shcool. You can even listen to Post Malone or Rae Sremmurd if you wanna have the party feel without the mumbles.

Would you pay real money to play a retro version of Tanki?

Yes. I haven't plaid with viking for a while. My current main account is colonel, so I play with your ranks regularly. I have also plaid the ranks from lieutenant-general to fieldmarshal after the update using viking m3. My arsenal is shaft, thunder, and hammer, guns that can't shoot through people. yet I barely ever have had to shoot over teammates. I do avoid getting directly behind teammates, which is fairly easy in most maps including highland and polygon which have a plenty of path choices, an open center, and the narrow spaces you refer to are relatively short and on the sides, easily avoidable if clogged. Ultimately this comes down to our differing playstyles. Mine involves getting a lot of space to work with. I do co-operate with teammates, but only when there is enough space for everyone to maneuver, in my experience trying to co-operate in small spaces ends tragically, unless you're using isida or something. If you find it important to have the ability to shoot over people I suppose yours is 1 more playstyle that works better with hunter, I can only speak for myself when I say that the ability is insignificant, And I can't really judge your playstyle without actually seeing it in action. Maybe the ability truly does add up to the hulls potential, when people with playstyles, unlike mine, are using it. -
Found this through the Walking dead telltale game. Absolute gem.

As I said some people still like viking more. For example: close range turrets don't need amazing stability since aim isn't a factor, however even little boosts in speed matter; few tenths of a meter are the difference between getting a kill and being useless. Same goes flag runners, a little faster hull is a clucth escape or a connection with an ally isida. It's all about the style of gameplay you choose, but as you said hunter is more versitile and for that I too think it's better, To your second point, Well When your teammates are dictators, titans, mammoths or other hunters you can't reliably shoot over them anyways. + playing into narrow passages with a bunch of teammates is usually a bad idea in general, you're just a prime target for a magnum/anything-that-can-harm-multiple-tanks-at-once And where are these clogged narrow passages anyways? Do you play alot of camp, passage or kolhoz. Most tanki maps are pretty open and allow you to not bunch up with a large group of teammates, with just a little bit of care and attention. I'm sorry, but this tactic just seems so obscure to me. With dictator I see the height factor, since you can shoot people on top of normally hard-to-reach areas, like the middle of sandbox, but with hunter that isn't as much of a thing. -

I too agree that it's the best atm. However not nearly as decisively as the old viking was. I did this profile data gathering thing a few weeks back on 4500 profiles. Basically, at m2 ranks usage of dictator, hunter and viking are pretty much equal. This was not the case before the update. So yes, I too think hunter sits on top, but people seem to like them pretty equally. (and no viking m2 being exceptionally strong modification doesn't factor in. People still use m1 viking over m1 hunter even though hunter is clearly better. Earlier unlock ranks and MU:ing make tier-based power differences irrelevant) You also make valid points in hunter being tactically more viable, but I really have to question this part: "I can catch up to a viking of the same modification".... you can't. Viking is simply faster, and not in the sense old hunter was "faster" viking actually has decent acceleration. Additionlly I don't know about the shooting over people thing, very turret specific, for example; my hammer tends to spray pellets over enemies when they get closer. And I often don't have time/space to rock forward for every shot. Shooting over people because you get hit also happens more with hunter. Besides, how often are your teammates blocking your view so badly, that instead of moving a little for a clear shot, you shoot over them? I can't recall the last time i had to do that. You conclude by saying the switch wasn't equal, which i do agree with. My point was that it's still way more equal than the previous meta. And bringing back the old extremely unbalanced parameters would be regressive. -

Hunter was inferior garbage. Less health, less stable, less power, but more speed right? The thing needed half a stadium lenght to even make up for its hideous acceleration, not to mention it couldn't take a hit without doing ballerina spins, the original parameters were disgusting. Now yes, the switch could've just been a hunter buff, but I guess devs figured that people who bought viking obviously wanted less control of their tanks. Making all mediums same health was a good decision I'll give them that. Much easier to balance things when you have less variables.
