I forgot to remove the key that drops gold in settings so I've dropped one by accident on that day and I took it. That was the easiest mission to complete on that day and I still have a few golds from contests that I keep just for these kind of missions.

Every day I change 1 supply mission hoping for some extra crystals. I usually end up having 2 missions that will give me some crystals as a reward and each gives usually 1,5k. Maybe one of them gives 2,5k from time to time... Btw, this happened to me 2 days ago: 15-20 minutes of playing for more than 10k crystals...

Smoky M2 unlocks 3 ranks later than Thunder M2 so Smoky should be better Atlas seems the better choice: it comes with a theoretically stronger turret, a better module for close combat and it's 15k cheaper Titan is surely a great choice for small maps but if you want to attack in medium or large maps I'd recommend you buying a kit with a medium hull

Splash damage is just so important when enemies are grouped near the point so the M1 alteration would be a bad investment for Poly CP. The M2 alteration will transform Thunder into a slow realoading smoky with spalsh damge and it doesn't seem worth the price, but I don't know, I've never tried it out and I don't think I've ever seen a Thunder using the alteration.

Crystal rewards from missions can get you around 25k each week. If I'm not busy that is about a third of my weekly income. Sure, it's not huge, but it matters.

Your lack of crystals puts you in a rather difficult situation. As you already have 2 M3 turrets I suggest you getting a triple protection module, but if I were you I'd play like crazy and get as many crystals as possible and then buy M3 Fire and the M3 module. If you can afford only one, the best choice would be to get the module and buy 1 MU for each M3 you have and 1 MU for your important modules as well
