War For The Blue Sphere 3: The Conclusion [EN+FR]
Blackdrakon30 replied to Bon.Voyage in Writers' Corner
- A few minor edits with grammar and punctuation - Added in quotation marks on the dialogue - Capitalized "Mammonth" once for consistancy Approved Nice job! Good story, and good spelling. :) -

This is an informal warning to all of you, in clan or not in clan. Yes, we're happy the clan is back, but as Tofu said, we only need one person saying "Yay". If you want to agree with something, just Like the post. And if you people have not noticed, most of the responses since the re-opening of HD have just been single sentence posts that frankly don't need to be said. And those are exactly why this clan was locked in the first place. So here's the deal: Unless you have relevant information to share, do not reply to this clan topic for now. Relevant information. Not responses to this post, not responses to other posts, just things that actually need to be said like Clan War results, scheduled trainings, planned Clan Wars, applications, application responses, and questions about these topics. We can ease up on regulations in a bit, when people start to follow the rules better, but I don't want to see any of these small "conversational posts". Got it? If you feel the need to say you understand or whatever, just like the post. Any questions about this can be sent to me or other Crested/Talon/Leader members via PM or Skype. Thank you.

I just want to second some complaints that have been mentioned here recently: The rank brackets currently seem way too large (for my liking, anyways). I'm currently a Colonel, but unfortunately this means that a massive majority of my naturally-available battles have players who are Marshals and above in them, or at the very least have people with M3 Kits at Lieutenant General. There are very few battles naturally made by the server that go from Major General or Brigadier and downwards, which would be a much better auto-rank range for M2-centered servers. It puts everyone at more equal grounds. So I'd personally like to see either the size of rank brackets reduced, or to see battles more tailored towards the modification level that is used most commonly on the respective server. For example, EU6 would have battles that are mostly M2 rank brankets, while EN1 would have high rank brankets that are better for players with M3s.

So, due to some complications, Antartica edited this but I'm approving it, so I have no idea what he did as edits. :P So perhaps if he comes here later he can shed some light on the topic, if you feel the need to know what was changed (if anything). All I did was add the title. Overall really nice! I liked how thorough and simplistic the guide was, and honestly it is top-tier article. :) Approved. Edits:- 1. Redesigned and removed [.hr] lines. 2. Standardized to Trebuchet MS, size 14. 3. A couple of grammar and typo edits.

 In other news, I bought Wasp M2 since I had it at 65% off in a personal discount + the sales. I figured I had the 35k crystals anyway leftover from before I went inactive, and I thought "Might as well". It seems pretty fun, and I look forwards to trying it out in battles soon, although my only turrets that go particularly well with it are Railgun, Isida, and (if I'm feeling really edgy) maybe Striker. :) My gaming laptop is having some problems, so I might not get to try for a bit, but eh.

I beg to differ. Determination and dedication are necessary to advancing in life, but are not the only factors. There are many things easily as important, such as being responsible, a good influence, and actually being someone worth the role. Something I've heard and seen to be true very often in my life is that the people who do best with power are those who didn't want the power initially. ;)

I've been pretty lenient on everyone, but I need to give y'all a heads up. Truthteller and Tofu, this is an informal warning to tone down on the "individual sentence/word" posting. It's cluttering up the clanpage, and honestly isn't relevant discussion. Please keep talk like that with relevant information only, or use PMs and Skype. Thank you. In the future, I'll have my eyes peeled for more excess spamming and I don't want to see it more to this degree.

Hey, just a reminder people, chill out on the double posts. If you need to say two things in a row, put them in the same post. If you desperately feel like you need some sort of divider line between the two responses because they are relating to different topics, then insert an [.hr] line. Just remove the period and it'll make a line across your post.

 Don't forget me. It'll probably be August until I rank again considering how little time I put into the game. Even during the summer when I will have some more time, my interest will have most likely waned and I'll probably be out and about. #LivingTheColonelLife

- Numerous grammar edits - Several spelling edits - Changed formatting slightly - Capitalized title (I assume Hell of Humanity is a specific place, so it should be considered a proper noun). Approved Nice article. You might want to work on your spacing around commas though, you seem slightly inexperienced with that aspect of grammar. Good job though. I apologize if I missed any edits; I was a bit rushed when approving this one.

Just a reminder people, please try not to spam too much! If you have ideas, please attempt to condense them into one post, and let's also try to avoid double posting. Thank you!

 P-Shooter you should get a Skype sometime, or make one that's usable for Tanki chatting. My guess is that web version of skype is not blocked at your workplace; I tend to use web skype at school and it has super strict firewalls.
-
Same, except for me at school. Hence me going around and being a mult on Skype and forums often but not often being online.
-
- A few small spelling edits (Like 2 words) - Formatting - One or two punctuation changes to improve sentence cohesion Approved. Great job! I definitely enjoyed getting to see more of the backstory, as well as a look into Kestral's motives. This was definitely an enjoyable read. Keep up the good work!
-
Definitely not. If you didn't plan on getting it originally, then don't get it during a personal discount. Trust me; I've bought personal discounts before that didn't honestly end up being all that good. If you decide later that you actually did want Isida M2, you can always get them during the 50% sales.

You have my permission to essentially keep this like a "blog" of sorts, although it technically qualifies more as a series of writings. Just make sure you keep it all appropriate for general audiences. The Amateur Writing section has no rules against continuing pieces or reflecting or whatnot in the comments of an article. (Especially since I write half the rules  )

Because you can do a tap dance to distract the enemies while I go in and capture 20 flags.

Yeah I'm trying to slowly go the Titan-Smoky route on an alternate account, but it takes long enough when I'm so inactive that I'm just sitting around with a 5/10 Smoky M1 and a something-out-of-ten Titan M1 at Warrant Officer 2.

It's about someone that I am acquainted with, but don't really know them all that well. I'm not being figurative when I say I haven't seen them for weeks.
-
Since I'm still mult right now, I'm just going to keep advertising some of these now until I decide to post them all as a collection in the Amateur Writing section or in the main Newspaper. Feel free to read and give feedback if you'd like. ~~ Where are you now ~~ goo.gl/CH2dM3 Also, P-Shooter, if you see this I also just want to say I enjoyed doing a few battles with you today. I hope you're doing well, and hope you had some fun too.
-
Great job! The formatting looks really nice, and overall it seems like you're doing a great job with it.
-
I wish you the best of luck Jwimmer wherever life takes you, and thank you for being a part of AWC for so long. We will surely miss you, but life goes as it goes and all of it is for a reason. So farewell! :)
-
I personally have no problem with this; after all, I'm in the Newspaper Reporter's in-game clan known as EN_RE. Since there doesn't seem to be any required ties between in-game and forum clans, you should be fine. I definitely get what you mean about times though; even when I play on the weekends I rarely see people online besides Limmy, Kaisdf, and a few others thanks to being in a US timezone.

It is unfortunately too late to enter the contest; the entries are now currently being processed. Knowing how to PM a user is fairly self-explicable and I honestly have no idea how you'd be on a forum without knowing how. You click the little envelope symbol in the top right corner of the forum and it should be all pretty obvious past that...
