Not sure what is going on here I think most translators translate literally word for word, and do not care much about context. Translators are not always useful for precise and accurate translations, but they can translate well enough for you to understand something written in a foreign language. Even if the meaning of something isn't clear it is easy to understand.

In addition to what Maf said replying to this, the 50k players you are talking about are spread across different languages, each of which has a separate chat. For example, English players will not see Russian chatter in EU1 and vice versa.
