Not much), odds are slim (Nation-wide, for every high school student), and there's no fame to be associated with it. Why am I partaking in it then? As a learning experience, and for the fun of it. With contests, you see who's good, how they became good, and what makes them good. You get to see how different people write, you see new techniques. The prize is on the side, a little extra for the best. What I'm doing that competition for, and I can post the link to it if you want, though it's for Canadians only, is to get something new out of it and become better that way. To say everyone is greedy and wants the moolah only isn't just generalization, it's borderline rude to those who want nothing to do with that.

You can agree or disagree, then say why, You can say whatever you want. What you can't do is act outside of your authority then say "Yup, you're accepted, get in and say it." You are an experienced player, of course that's obvious. You're also an experienced clan member, that is obvious too. Thing is, you are not in a position to accept people into the clan purely because of how you personally feel about people. Cobra hasn't even been so much as officially tested yet, and certainly hasn't had Cresteds/Talons/Leaders backing him as of yet. A better analogy is this: I am born as me, mydoom.exe. However, let's say, in an alternate universe, I'm not mydoom.exe, but someone else. The question is whether or not I, as that other person, would have known that mydoom.exe was not born. And the answer is no. Of course not.
