What I meant by unconsequential was it won't necessarily have a negative influence on the game's balance (hence the Freeze reference). Tanki Online is not a family, it's a business, so all of that family talks are irrelevant simply because in Tanki Online you can continue to feed your child junk food as long as he pays. All these updates are carefully calculated, and if something goes wrong, they fix it (by wrong I mean technically wrong not "players don't like this" wrong)

Honestly, I'm clueless as to how you reached your conclusion from what I said. My reply was about how difficult things could get and how they might affect the game's balance. You might want to have a second look at what I said and try to come up with a reply that's actually relevant and sensible (to what I said).

I get your point. Devs are constantly bringing up new ways to use the same old supplies, and it could get frustrating to some. However, they don't really have many tricks up their sleeves. I think we can all agree that whatever balance we have now is extremely fragile, and the slightest change could tear it down, as we've seen from the Freeze fiasco couple of weeks ago. To come up with a truly new concept can present itself to be unbelievably difficult. It can't be too effective as to gain superiority amongst other game features but at the same time, it can't be too weak that no one would bother to use it. Also, there's the tedious checking for glitches in case this new feature would contravene with other game mechanics. Devs have to constantly provide new updates to keep the higher ranks interested, otherwise, things would get boring for them. So they bring up these supply-related updates 'cause they're not highly consequential and relatively easy to come by (by their standards )

Damn it! Was hoping for some intriguing info about Tankers' day

Then they'd just change their protection to whatever turret I changed to?
-
Protection modules are extremely powerful in small maps. A player could essentially have 50% protection against everyone in the game, creating an imbalance between teams.

Main account: Viking 19/20; Railgun XT 20/20; Synesthesia paint; Assault Drone 0/20. Mini account (WO1): Thunder M1 0/10; Viking XT M1 0/10; Prestigio paint. *All modules don't have any MU's on them

Hello. On the secret website of paint Synesthesia, it mentions the paint "Officially" doesn't exist. Shouldn't this mean it ought to be removed from the Wiki?

Animated paints are dope!! -
As you can see from the following screenshot, a huge problem presents itself. As an English person, finding a map and/or game mode I like is rather annoying. Since I cannot know what map it is (if the battle's named) I have to go through them one by one and it's impossible to know what format is being played unless you join the game. Previously, this update was of no consequence since format battles weren't yet introduced. And players weren't going crazy naming battles. My suggestions: Somewhat of an advanced filter to find maps and game modes. For example, you type "Sandbox" and the system filters out all Sandbox battles on the server. Players could even search specific formats or game modes. Colored maps: It would help players to recognize the map easier if the bars on the battle menu were colored. For example, all "Zone" maps bear the color Yellow for example. This way, when a player sees the color Yellow he/she would identify the map as Zone. More specifications in the battle description. It would contain further information like the format, battle creator, etc.

Next war, please remove the word "Capital" from the factions' starting points. Since thousands of players are wasting their votes each turn defending the capital due to a misinformed mind or a misunderstanding of how the War works. It would not only save plenty of votes but would also make the event more dynamic and fair.

War site isn't working. Seems like the same problem from turn 1.

satisfaction

It shows a different name everytime you click it, saying it's you. So it got me confused as well.
-
Oddly it's only says that in the PL version of the site (for me at least).
-
I doubt they'll give everyone the biggest available prize... Perhaps (like the previous War) they'll confirm everyone's votes by giving them 5 stars for free for the first turn.

get well bro

On behalf of all the bloody people, even if ranks doesn't correspond with skills which I did not state, it does usually correspond with equipment. No matter how skilled you are, it's an upstream swim brawling with a person with a higher equipment level, especially if he's an active supply user (aka, noob drugger). I'm pretty sure you misunderstood me. My theory is the system, similarly with MMS, will distribute players based on their ranks/garages/supplies count/etc. NOT their skills, that's just stupid.
-
It has to be somewhat relevant. If it was a random distribution, one faction could end up with stronger players than other factions and thus dominate the war. The system should take in players' equipment level, rank and even supply count (etc..) into the measure.

Sucks not being able to pick a faction, but I'm still taking part 'cause it finna be fun :D Question: since this war isn't locally-dependant, what will happen to the award paints of the previous war's victors?
