Try doing the following things: Go to Power Options, Change advanced power settings. In the new window find Graphic and processor power management, and put them to maximum performance. Not harmful to do other than making it consume a bit more battery. Open Task Manager, go to Processes and right click on the browser/flash/client process and set it's Priority to High.

These 2 options are quite usual other than making your Laptop eat more battery when the charger is not plugged in but that is only if he has a Laptop. Mine is just how you described now and it is been like this from the past 9 months and it is wonderfully working. :)

Quite a lot of the time, the problem is with lags and players often complain about this problem. Refreshing the page/whatever you are using usually fixes the issues most of the time, but if it doesn't, you can give it a try by clearing your Client's cache following the instructions given in here. But in your case, I would say or recommend you to try pressing the delete bottom to self-destruct first and continuing your battle normally, try this and see if it will be of any help.
