Main reason for mk1-mk7 is to control the number of MUs the buyers (you dislike) can place on their items. mks controled by rank means MUs are controlled by rank. Did they botch the implementation of it? Absolutely! None of the m2.10 items should have been converted to mk7 which is upgradeable immediately. But going forward buyers won't be able to turn a Striker kit into m2.10 (mk6.10) by Master Sergeant. They needed to do something about spawn-killing - but - being able to trigger mines is kind of brutal - I agree on that one. Should be no damage= no effect on mine.

We used to get the "no-damage" bug every now and then. Did you try re-freshing the browser during the battle to see if that corrects issue?

You mean buy mk1 at 25% off then mk2 at 25% off then mk3 at 25% off etc.. ? 3x if you want the hull+turret+module... Will that actually be cheaper than a kit?

This would apply to anyone at rank of Marshal or higher who wants to buy a new item (as opposed to upgrading a lower version). Any mk7 (m3) will cost you more than it did before. Same goes for modules. Not every Marshal has already purchased ALL the modules. But at this rank modules are even more expensive than they already were.

mk7 now is exactly the same as m3 before. Before, I could buy m3 on it's own without buying m0-m2 (shorter burst as you put it). Buying mk7 now is more expensive than buying m3 was. They have raised the cost.

Not ONLY mk7 kits. But that is where you save more crystals as you avoid the mk1-mk6 costs.

In a word... STARS. Other ODs help the player who activates it get a score by directly killing other tanks. Giving supplies AND an OD boost to everyone on your team can actually have a negative effect on your score. In Pro-battles it's different, but in MM it's often everyone for themselves (to some extent). Don't blame the players - they didn't institute the Challenges.

Why are they forcing players to buy ALL mk-levels? This certainly increases prices for players trying to get a new item at mid-high ranks.

If you want to stick with same equipment - prices are same. If you want to buy a completely new item at mid-ranks or above, the price has increased because they force you to buy each mk-level now. I certainly don't support that aspect. They could have applied the mk-MU restrictions without adding that factor. You are wrong. If a Legend wants to buy a completely new item, they have to buy all the mk-levels and upgrade each one. This is definitely more expensive than just buying an "m3" item and upgrading that to "m4".

Kits would be useful if you want mk7 - you don't have to pay for each m-level... just the current mk7 one. But... can you even buy kits for crystals anymore?

Best not to draw attention to yourself as you are about to activate viking OD... Larger maps, and maps with cover like bushes, etc allow for camouflage to work a little better. Sometimes that 1 second delay makes a difference.

Nah... too much metal. Paint is almost useless. We need a plain skin that we can cover with the paints.

Will need to see a new rank-limit chart for mks. We know you can't go from mk6.10 to mk7.0 until you get to Marshal. But what about the rest?

My point was - going forward - everyone will have the same restrictions - including buyers. Buyer starts a new account and they wont be able to buy a Striker kit at sergeant and quickly upgrade that to m2. They will be limited to mk-levels just like everyone else. You are complaining about the NOW - and I get that. I already said they botched the conversion. But if you can't see how the rank limits for upgrading will help in future, we don't have anything else to discuss.

Yeah - they might have made it simpler... Wow - did not realize they wiped our profiles. Brutal. And of course all modules were un-equipped. Played a couple battles sans protection before I realized.

You have max number of "old" MUs you can get per rank. MKs are now split by rank. The fact they botched conversion does not take away from the limitation imposed going forward.

So a Juggernaut can get a striker lock-on while a "target" is spawning? The moment I became "material" the missiles hit and killed me. LMAO.

Those upgrades are not gonna happen quickly and they won't be cheap. And it's a one-time aberration. Anyone going forward that does not currently have mk7 will be limited by rank. Short-term pain for long-term gain?

Well... 1st MU for mk7 costs a lot more than 100 crystals... more like 1000. And takes a lot more than 10 min... more like 4 hrs. ?

I was referring specifically to modules... where eventually you want ALL of them. Having to buy a module from scratch NOW is going to be brutal. It's not even worth equipping when you are playing other Legends... waste of a slot. It will sit in your garage until you do hit the 25%-30% mark. Its not like say... turrets... I don't plan on buying ALL of them on each account.

That was my point too - they should have converted to mk6.9 My Legend account has all the modules at m7+ (except for spider). My Lt. General account has all the modules at mk6 (except for striker & spider). Ths barely affects me at all. ?

First one is practically free and takes... 10 min? I have 100K+ crystals sitting around. Will do another MU, then do the rest on sales. I have a feeling we'll be seeing some sales soon. You can't compare m2.10 to mk7.0. Sure - at the moment they are the same. It's a huge difference though to be able to MU that mk7. I had 2 more ranks before I could do that. That's a fair amount of time I saved. I'm not complaining - I'm benefiting. But for others who were just short...
