It's a nice idea although I am slightly concerned that people will abuse this tag. Even though it can be made clear that it is against the rule to spam ping groups, people will still do it. You said "People should be able to decide if they want to get a ping when such a tag is used." I for myself would allow pings, but at the same time I know there will be a lot of cases where people will ping incorrect groups for certain matters. For example, if someone has a question about Contest matters they might end up pinging Head Admins and Helpers of other groups. It's a nice idea but it would need some careful consideration before implementing.

It may be a grind but if you work out how much all the items in the battle pass would cost if you bought them in the shop, then in fact you are getting a pretty good deal.

Any ranked player can earn these rewards.

Smoky is good, same with all turrets it just depends on your personal preference. It's also worth looking at other player's protection modules in battles so you can get an idea of what people have the least amount of protection from. It might be a good idea to ask your question in What to buy? Which is better?

SLTV stands for StarLadderTV which is a site that manages eSports tournaments for games like CSGO, Dota and WoT. Tanki used to have a contract signed with them back in the days when clans such as Arcade, Scorpions and Psychos, to name a few, were around but unfortunately Tanki no longer have this contract. I agree with all of these points here and I'm pretty confident I mentioned these in my previous post although there are some things I would like to add. After playing on HTML5 a bit more recently, there is something else that I would like to be implemented. In flash, you can see the duration of supplies clearly, as well as when there is a cool down, by the colours. In HTML5 it is all number based. I feel that the flash version of illustrating supply usage is much better than with numbers as players have to look down at their supplies to see how long they have left and this is an extra process that the brain has to do. With colour, you can simply glance over the screen and get a good idea of when the supplies will run out.

I understand that some players might find completing stars harder than others but at the same time, you do not need to play for hours and hours. The battle pass silver tier is completely free and most importantly, an optional thing. A lot of players who complete their daily and weekly missions really fast will run out of things to do, so the battle pass gives them more of a reason to play and earn cool rewards. I know what you mean by the odd player who focuses just on earning as much score as possible in MM, but it doesn't always happen. However, if this is an issue for you, maybe it would be more enjoyable to play Pro battles which are longer and require more team play. If you have any ideas on how to improve matchmaking, feel free to suggest them here.
